Location A+ House D-

We have stayed several places on the east coast of Kenya. This was by far the best location in relation to the beach and restaurants. The pool was a highlight and the best we have ever had. Alfred was always on hand quickly when we had a need. The house was very spacious and for our family of five it was more than ample. However, the house is very old, or at least it appears that way. It is in serious need of some TLC and very run down. Window screening was mostly gone. Exterior doors could not be locked. Kitchen utensils and pans were very worn, and in many cases unusable. (we took our own griddle thankfully) We would go again, but next time will have a suitcase of kitchen supplies. One weeks rental invested into upkeep would go a long way. Im guessing the owner has not seen the condition of the house for several years. At least, I hope he has not.

Lovely beachfront getaway

Our group (4 adults, 2 children, 1 infant) had a fantastic time at Cagiugua on the Ocean. Betty ensured our arrival was seamless and the staff was lovely. The pool was immaculate and we swam several times a day. Being that the house is self-catering, you must be ready to fill the supplies so we recommend ensuring this is done before you arrive or carry a few basics (e.g. drinking water) to make your first few hours very comfortable. We had a few small pieces of feedback about our experience, and Betty was very receptive and grateful. Overall we had a lovely time and would suggest this as a great option for a large group.

A great accommodation for a coastal holiday!!!!

The property is great and in an excellent location. It is almost too good to be true. Most time, there are good photos on the internet but the actual accommodation is poor. This one is even better that the internet photos. The manager and her team were so attentive and very responsive. We will definitely recommend this place!

Staying at Giacommo's house was a great experience

The house is built and decorated in beautiful Arabic/Swahili style and the setting is idyllic, right on the beach. We spent a lot of time lounging around the swimming pool enjoying the view and we also took walks on the beach from the house to the nearby resorts for drinks etc. The staff at the house were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. We had a very relaxing time and we would recommend this place without reservation.
