Bis auf die nur bedingt selbst regelbare Heizung und das Fehlen des in Anzeige angegebenen Kamins (der ist nur Deko und nicht
benutzbar!) Gut für Urlaub.
Magherafelt Townhouse - a great base for visiting Northern Ireland
We chose Magherafelt as it is central and every part of the province is accessible for a day out by car. Off road parking is a bonus.
Access to the house was easy using the key safe. The pictures and description on the website were accurate and the house was spotlessly clean. The wifi was very good.
It is an easy walk to the town centre where we had a choice of several restaurants. There are supermarkets close by for stocking up provisions.
My only quibble was the kitchen and living room could have been better equipped. The essentials were there but things like coffee tables in the living room and, as we do quite a lot of cooking for ourselves, more small items of kitchen equipment such as a bread bin, kitchen scissors, weighing scales, cafetiere, measuring jug, small drinking glasses, garlic press, would be an improvement.
These were minor points and if I was returning to Northern Ireland I would be happy to stay their again.
This was a very nice property, spacious, quiet and exactly what we required. It wasn't very expensive either. I particularly liked how the back garden had gates on which meant we could secure the bikes overnight. We would definitely go back, and we will be back
Found the accommodation easily, nice and clean with everything we needed for our stay. Short walk into town so perfect location in quiet residential street. Jon answered phone first call and gave me all the details I needed to get into property. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a lovely stay. Easy to get in touch with John.
House was good location, clean, and had plenty of beds for our needs.
Only suggestion is to stock a fee extra rolls of toliet paper.
