Just a slice of heaven
Tks Dave and Trish, Yer now family see you again this year.
We had a great time with our family, we rented the Lodge which is bigger than it appears in the pictures, the Cottage which was very cozy and a couple hotel rooms that were a perfect size and very clean. The host were very helpful and kept the place looking great, clean towels were provided every day. There is a community pool that was perfect for the hot days and a lot of space outdoors for football, corn hole and hanging out! We booked another stay before we left so we will definitely be back.
Dave and trish were the best. Accommodations were great . We had 10 family members and we all enjoyed walking to town reminiscing our childhood
Great setup for extended family get-together!
We stayed at this property for our extended family's Christmas celebration. It was a perfect set-up for our group as people could hang out together in the large dining room playing games, eating, watching movies...or head off to their room for a nap or a little alone time. We used the main house and several of the connected motel rooms, so even though there was plenty of privacy, no one was more than 40 steps away! The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of fridge space, two oven and any cooking utensils you might need. The owners were very helpful and attentive.
Wonderful Reunion Spot
Thanks, Dave and Trish, for a most comfortable place to stay for our 15 eclipse chasers. You even provided a pack n play for our youngest family member. And did a load of laundry for us! The kitchen is huge with two stoves and two refrigerators. Sadly we did not get to enjoy the lovely patio (off to chase the eclipse!). I was a bit concerned about there being only 1.5 baths to be used by 15 of us, but it worked. If you are looking for a place for your family reunion, consider the Gander Inn!
The property was beautiful as well as the house. Perfect for our needs.
My family loved our stay. The history of the house made it even more wonderful.
