This property is one of a kind. It's clean, comfortable, and perfect for families. My kids were blown away that we were staying in a grain silo and we were very impressed with how beautiful it was. Definitely recommend this property.

Judy left a voicemail so we knew exactly when we could check in and how to get there, etc. She was so friendly. She let us pet her goats and see the chickens and ducks and Todd the turkey. The silo is so spacious and beautiful inside. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed! Great king-sized beds and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms for convenience. So quiet with a beautiful view and not far from Lake Mac and Ash Hollow. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Clean place. Definitely thought about what some of the needs might be for guests. We played some of the provided family games and had a movie night with their choices of movies on the TV. It was cool enough inside but the fans definitely helped upstairs. The stairs were a little steep but we have a 2 year old that no matter what they were going to be nervous about the stairs. But such a great experience, one that I hope my kids remember.

Great place to stay!

Hosts were very nice, house/bin was very nicely finished. We stayed during a cold December weekend, very cozy inside with a nice kitchen to cook and hang out. We will definitely be returning.

The owners of this property are lovely. There were farm fresh eggs on our arrival. Visiting with the goats and chickens and turkey were an added bonus. Would highly recommend this property!

Parker Round House

We had a wonderful stay at this unique silo house. The house was so roomy and decorated so nice. It was Very comfortable for my husband and I. Neil and judy were such cordial hosts and made our stay so nice! We definitely recommend staying here . Close enough for us to go boating:/fishing on Lake Mac. We will come here again!! !

Weekend trip

We truly enjoyed our stay at Parker's Round House. The first night, we drove over to Big Springs and at at Max's Diner. Mother nature didn't cooperate too much on our second day, so we just stayed in and watched movies. It was a very relaxing weekend. The Parkers' were very hospitable. The Silo was a very cool experience. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet Quaint Getaway

We enjoyed the home! We didn’t use it much except to sleep and play games. We were gone most of the days that we stayed. It was great touch that they left us cookies on a plate and a few fresh veggies. It was a little warm in the home, as they asked us not to turn the air below 70. We sleep in a much cooler environment so that was a major adjustment at night, but we made it work. Overall, a nice place to rest out tired heads at night.

Fun, unique place

Overall first impressions were great, upon arrival. We were a bit unimpressed by the lack of privacy as the bedroom and upstairs bathroom have only about 7 foot walls and the all open above. For example, i could hear my 7 year old using the bathroom upstairs while sitting at the dining table, almost as if he was going right next to me. It also would have been nice to have ziploc baggies available for leftovers, not a huge deal but always appreciated at other places we have stayed. The kids loved the set-up and couldn't wait to tell their grandparents about the grain bin we stayed in. Communication with the hosts was great, Neil personally called the day prior to arrival to confirm and go over a few things.
