Lovely little break, the lodge is in a good position with a lovely partial view over the holy loch. Everything you could need is there, the only fault (and I'm being picky here) is that the twin room smelled a tiny bit damp I think due to the shower? Lovely otherwise, very happy family.
Peace perfect peace
We have been to this lodge for a few years now. There have been improvements made every year to this lodge too. I enjoy the peace and quiet then going up for the entertainment with my grandchildren at night time

Stayed here over the weekend so quiet and relaxing the lodge we had ws beautiful and clean and lovely view would stay here again
Lodge itself was of a good standard in a peaceful location.
Downside for us was having to pay for swimming as there were no passes included despite me asking a couple of times to be told they were.
Sorry Paul, there has been a mix up in regarding who you called regarding the swimming passes being free. If you called our office then you would have been told as the lodge is private the swimming passes are not included. It also states this in your arrival instructions, please see below : Note: Entry to the Hunters Quay Holiday Park facilities are available to everyone staying in and around the park. Payable activities not included in the accommodation price. Plus, this statement is in the features when looking at the online advert in our website. If you called Hunters Quay Holiday Village who also advertise lodges then they would tell you the passes are included but their lodges are considerably more expensive. I think you paying less than £100 per night for up to six persons staying in a 3 bedroom lodge in peak season is great value for money and cant expect swimming passes for everyone to be included.
Absolutely lovely lodge with stunning views across the loch.
Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.
We had a lovely time, we loved the lodge and the location was fab. great for our two young boys, with swimming and play areas on site just a 5 minute walk away and kids entertainment, this made for a wonderful break, will be back!!
You can travel by Citylink Bus or by train from Glasgow to the ferry terminals at Gourock. Calmac and Western Ferries both serve the Dunoon area and both ferry operators have passenger facilities.
Follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch the Western Ferries Ferry to Dunoon. You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond and through the Argyll countryside. See the AA web site for a route planner.
