Fantastic Location

Highly recommend this accommodation. A perfect location to explore the area. The house is very well equipped with everything you need, very comfortable & clean, great views and really comfortable beds.

Fabulous house with fabulous views!

We stayed for a week in August and just loved this house. The location is private with fantastic views of the Firth of Clyde from the living room and deck. The house was spotless and had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the private walk down to the beach and through the nearby forested area. There are a number of excellent restaurants in Inverkip and Largs and the nearby train station made getting into Glasgow easy. It was a fantastic week and we will be dreaming of this house for a long time!

The View!! Love this place! Driveway is a little narrow- but private and gorgeous! We traveled a lot with the convenience of the Wemyss Bay train station and ferry. We traveled during July and there is no air-conditioner, got a little hot during the day. Would have loved some screens for windows and patio doors- and a fan would have been awesome. However we enjoyed staying here very much!

Quirky, stylish...

An excellent holiday destination with excellent views of the Clyde. The house is distinctive, and `quirky`, stylish but requires some attention to detail as regards the entrance way and approach to the house (first impressions do count). Main lounge with amazing views is let down somewhat by `student accommodation` quality furniture. The owner was most helpful when it came to resolving a couple of issues we had, friendly and supportive, as were Argyll Holidays. So, overall, an interesting holiday choice, ideally located to travel around the west coast and close to each of the major ferries to the islands.

Birthday Celebrations

The accommodation is quirky, bright, comfortable and well equipped with fabulous views over the Firth of Clyde. We were able to sit out on the balcony on occasions despite having damp weather overall and I can imagine that being able to do that in a warm summer must be glorious. We found it to be a perfect base to explore the area. Kelburn Castle and estate is beautiful, we went via Glasgow on the train & subway to Govan to visit Fairfield Heritage Centre and went on the ferries to explore further afield. Sadly we didn't see the dolphins although there was a lot of activity in the area, but we saw an otter in Dunoon harbour. A very relaxing stay.

A unique design which was a bit surprising initially! The approach is a mess and needs some wild flowers to cheer it up.We were lucky with the weather as the property is all about the stunning views.Its as well we didnt need the TV as we couldnt operate it.No easy viewing of the main channels all subsciption channels. Property could do with an old fashioned radio and CD player for us senior guests! Overall we had a great time but there a few tweeks which could make it better.
