About lovely Tuross Head
Tuross Head is in the centre of the beautiful Nature Coast, a water lover's playground, surrounded by the waters of Coila and Tuross Lakes and Pacific Ocean. Coila Lake is ideal for sailing, sailboarding and kayaking while Tuross lake is excellent for boating, fishing and kayaking. You can swim, snorkle or catch fish, play golf or bowls, go cycling and take leisurely walks along the walking and cycle paths which stretch from Coila Lake to Tuross and along the front boulevard. The Village caters for all your needs and there is a great choice of dining.
This cosy house is located on the hill close to the golf course overlooking the sea with views from the back to Tuross Lake and the mountains. Sunsets are spectacular and bird life is abundant.. A lovely place to soak up the coastal atmosphere and escape the summer heat. It is always several degrees cooler than Canberra and Sydney on the hottest days because of the cooling sea breezes.

About the host
Hosted by Miriam Jerrems

My family and I have enjoyed this house for many years and we enjoyed school holidays here for many years. As the children are now adults, we spend less time and decided to share it with others so that they too can enjoy the delights of Tuross Head. Tuross Head is a special place for us and I feel a sense of relaxation on arrival here. The house is a beach house and does not have all the latest and greatest amenities but we like it that way. It is a summer fun house.
Why they chose this property
It is affordable, spacious and not far from the beach. My mother purchased this house because it was solid with timber floors, had beautiful views and was on the high side of the street. She bought it so family members could come together and have holidays at the beach. The closeness of the golf course was also an appealing factor.
What makes this property unique
The main thing that have made us fall in love with this place are the lovely views, (now partly obscured by trees) and the proximity to the beach. (a five minute drive or 15 minute walk). As I am a walker, I enjoy the morning walk circumnavigating Tuross, taking in the views and getting good exercise climbing back up the hill. It take an hour walking briskly.
