Great open fireplace. The Family Hotel in Katoomba delivered evening meals. A great place to stay.

Really wonderful place, even better than advertised. Beverley was so helpful with everything and it was wonderful to curl up in front of the log fire in the cold evenings. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Cottage was comfortable and clean. Beverly was a very caring and proactive host who took every step possible to ensure that our stay was enjoyable including getting someone to come and attend to the troublesome TV remote.

We were very comfortable and warm in the quaint cottage. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped and everything we needed was here. We loved the open fireplace and it was only a short stroll to Leura Mall which was a bonus being able to leave the car and walk everywhere. Bev was very good to communicate with. We would definitely stay again.

Strathearn Cottage in Leura is a beautiful place to stay in winter. My wife an I loved the open fire on the cold nights. The cottage is warm an has a real home away from home feeling to it. Would definitely stay again.

Bev's cottage was so cosy and snug with the open fire and heaters, that we spent much of our stay at home enjoying it all. Even when a storm hit overnight, the cottage stayed dry and warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Cosy Cottage

Great, cosy cottage- walking distance to the centre of Leura and Katoomba a 5 min drive. Very well set up with pretty much everything supplied, just bring yourself and enjoy this quiet, cosy cottage. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely break away

We loved it and will definitely go again, my grandson loved the fire place he made s’mores every night while we relaxed and unwinded, we took walks during the day some breathtaking views, we also did scenic world that was fun, walked around Leura Mall, all activities were close to this property so this property was ideal, this cottage is lovely and had everything we needed and more, Bev was extremely accommodating

Quiet with lovely outlook.

The house is in a very quiet area, high up in the trees. Bev was super kind and helpful. We had a medium sized dog which was fine, but I don’t think it would be suitable for bigger dogs, or more than one dog as the garden is very small and is off the main bedroom. The bathroom is also off the main bedroom which was fine for us as it was just the two of us. It was nice and warm with aircon and also an open fire. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy cottage

We enjoyed a really relaxing weekend at Strathearn Cottage. Weather was great, and we enjoyed exploring the local neighbourhood for walks with our dog. Such a quite setting surrounded by interesting homes and gardens. Leura and Katoomba shops and lookouts are only a short drive away, so we found the location perfect.

Wonderful cottage

This cottage was located up on a hill so you got a beautiful outlook from the windows of trees and wildlife. We came in winter and had the opportunity to see snow. The place had plenty of options to keep you warm, including a beautiful cackling fireplace. Beverly was wonderful she provided us clear directions on how to access the property and kept in contact making sure we were comfortable. I have recommended the place to family and friends.

Fabulous stay

The property was as advertised and very comfortable despite the inclement weather. The property owner kept in touch to ensure the stay was comfortable. We would love to return and would gladly stay in the house again.

Beautiful cottage

A beautiful cottage with everything needed for a lovely getaway. Our two small dogs loved the cottage and outdoor area. Bev was wonderful to deal with.
