Although compact, this accommodation is probably the most stunningly located on Lake Macquarie, being right on the water's edge. We would stay there again in preference to other properties on offer within a 25km radius.
Bruce was nice and easy to talk all the time. The boat house and the atmosphere were amazing. The house was fully equipment and there was a barbecue 😍 We would like to go back as soon as possible.

We both just loved this place, a tiny little piece of paradise. I don’t think I have ever seen sunsets like these. It’s got everything you need, Bruce is super easy to deal with, we will go back.

They say a picture says a thousand words but the pictures can never truly represent how amazing this place really is. The boatshed location which is metres from the water is so tranquil with the sound of water at your doorstep. The evenings watching the sunset with a drink or watching the sunrise are amazing and romantic. Fishing from the deck is great too.
The kitchen had everything I needed.
Bruce was very helpful with everything and very friendly and accommodating.
I just simply can't wait to go back.
Thanks for a great Stay Bruce. Mick

We wanted to get away especially after lockdown for our anniversary. If you are looking for some peace and a place to rest your soul & recharge, this is bf the place. Unfortunately we only had 3 nights but we will be back. Bruce is the perfect host & we really appreciated everything about the boathouse..
We even miss chilling on the back deck looking over the lake!
Absolutely great value for money!
Thank you again Bruce, we’ll be back :)

A beautiful spot, with a deck right at the water's edge. Very calm, tranquil and relaxing, with visits from a local koala in the tree outside and a pelican swimming on the lake. The property is clean, snug, with lots of character and historic Catherine Hill Bay is very close by. Highly recommended.
