I bought this place to live because of the serenity that engulfs you when you arrive. I have lived here since 2012. It is truly one of a kind. If you want to relax there isnt a better place in Middle Tn. We are just a short drive from so much to do, yet if you are looking to just come sit on a porch without hearing anything more than birds chirping and wind blowing, you can do that too! Its so peaceful that sometimes I find myself falling asleep on the porch. Everyone that comes out loves it. Feel free to contact me about anything you need. I know that you will enjoy spending time here!

About Tim Tidwell

I am a Contractor and love to build things with my hands. Golf is one of my favorite hobbies along with hunting. I was fortunate to be able move to this paradise at a younger age. With my business growing, I decided to move back closer to town but just couldn't sell this place. I wanted others to be able to enjoy it as well. I'm hoping others will be able to have as much peace and tranquility as I do out there, and some day I plan to move back.

5 things I cant live without

-God

-Food :)

-Water :)

-Love

-Work

My favorite travel destinations are Puerto Rico, and about any deer stand I can find!!

Favorite movies- Last of the Mohicans, LIfe or something like it, The Patriot, Interstellar

Favorite books- The Bible and Redeeming Love

Love all types of food

Like lots of music

Pretty much just a country boy that loves the outdoors, activities, working and my family.

I prefer traveling where I can explore when I get there. I would treat your home like my home. As far as a host, I do my best to make sure you enjoy this paradise in the country as much as I do. If you need something while you are there I am more than happy to help. I've never had anyone stay that did not think they were in a little peace of heaven. I promise you will enjoy it thoroughly.

Life motto

Romans 8:28 " For we know that ALL things work together for good for those that love God and are called according to his purpose"

That means everything in life happens to better you in some form. I hope that you get to spend some time in this wonderful place I have called home for years, and will one day call home again.

Why Tim Tidwell chose Beechgrove

I chose this property because I love the wilderness, I love nature! This house sits right right inside the beautiful, rolling hills of Tennessee. It's location is right outside city limits offering tranquility, peace, and a quiet seclusion. Relaxing here has never been a problem!

What makes this house unique

Some unique benefits about this place are:

- Being able to enjoy nature at its finest. Spotting wild deer or turkey out here is a common thing. I've enjoyed watching them.

- This is a great place to watch the storms roll in. From the inside (Master bedroom especially) with a window open or from the front porch the sound of the rain and its freshness are both peaceful and very relaxing.

- There are trails throughout the land to walk, run, hike, or play (I've driven a 4 wheeler all over this land). The hill on the front side of the house is great for sledding in white winters! And, there's plenty of space for playing sports or games!

We loved it!

This place was heaven for our nature loving children. It was so much fun playing down in the creek and hiking all over. The house was very comfortable and we would love to come back.

Wonderful Property!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here as an anniversary get-away. The beauty of the hills is breath-taking. At the time of our stay, they were covered with daffodils and clover. The whole area is just gorgeous. There are all kinds of places to walk and enjoy nature. We saw deer and turkey...and the sound of the birds is so very relaxing! If you are longing for some country therapy, this is the place to be. Inside, we enjoyed having lots of board games to pass the time and the downstairs bedroom is very comfortable! (we didn't sleep in the other rooms). This cute little get-away is home to two charming cats that are very friendly and love having attention. If you are a cat-lover, they will add a lot of charm to your visit.

Perfect home for our family Christmas getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Tim was the perfect host. The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas. His displays of faith were a reminder of the true reason for the Christmas season. There was a storm during the stay and Tim came and leveled the driveway as the rain had created grooves in the gravel.

We had a wonderful stay in the home and recommend it highly!

Little Slice of Heaven Pie

  • 5 of 5

We decided to stay here for NYE to get away from downtown Nashville and everyone in our group was blown away with Tim's home, truly a country paradise. The pictures do not do it justice. This is definitely a place that we will return.

Pros: comfortable beds, large bedrooms, privacy, game room with ping pong table and piano, wood burning fire places, hot tub, covered back patio with fire pit, beautiful scenic views from the covered front porch, large kitchen for entertaining, the list could go on...

Thank you for opening your home to us! We all feel like we found a hidden gem.

Just a little piece of heaven on a hilltop in central Tennessee.

  • 5 of 5

After spending a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this special place, it was hard for us to leave this morning. Our family time there was truly restful and relaxing for the five of us who had traveled from Albuquerque, New Orleans and west Tennessee. We celebrated my brother's 65th birthday and Thanksgiving with a reunion with two of his adult sons whom he had not seen in a number of years. Since my brother has not had a "vacation" in over a decade, it was important that he have a time to relax and this was the perfect setting. He and my sister-in-law spent many hours sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs looking out at the scenic beauty of Tim's place and listening to nature all around. We all spent time hiking around some and were entertained by Oliver and Fancy, the house cats who patrol the property and do a bit of hunting when the notion strikes them. The overall house size was perfect for us and the 2.5 bathrooms prevented anyone from having to wait long. Except for one meal that we ate at Bell Buckle Cafe before our trip to the grocery store in Manchester, we prepared and ate all of our meals at the house. The kitchen was a gathering place for all of us before, during, and after meals. A few of our meals got a little hectic while the five cooks were all trying to contribute to a particular meal at once but it was all a special time together.

If you like to be in the action of the city or close to the grocery, big box store, tourist attractions, bus lines, this spot may not be to your liking. If you love nature, beautiful scenery, peace/quiet, and relaxing, then you most definitely will feel comfortable at Tim's place. We look forward to being able to return to this little piece of heaven!

Thanks so much Tim for sharing your home with us. We hope to return soon. The weather was perfect for this time of year, but I would love to see your place in winter, spring, and summer also.
