AMENITIES: At North, Resort-style amenities include three lavish pools, two scenic lakes, a fishing dock, fire pits, a fitness center, private dune crossovers, lawn games, a pirate ship playscape, and more! Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria, a coffee shop and cafƩ, while the Town Center hosts events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: Gather in the cozy but light-filled first-floor family room. It flows through an archway into the dining room and beautifully renovated kitchen that has everything you need for preparing meals during your stay. You canā€™t help but feel happy and relaxed hanging out downstairs in this cozy yet open space.

SLEEPING QUARTERS: The first-floor bunk room sleeps 4 in charming built-in twin bunks, and it has a full bath. The second floor offers three bedrooms and two baths. The master suite has a king bed and a spacious bath with a walk-in shower, double vanity, large walk-in closet, and a private balcony, accessed through French doors, showcases beautiful dune views. Another guest bedroom features a queen bed and feels like an all-white oasis. It shares a bathroom with a second bunk room, where four more sturdy, twin built-ins are piled with banks of colorful pillows.

GREAT FEATURES: Multiple seating areas on the outdoor decks beckon, and a grassy backyard provides a place to play. Handsome woodwork and designer tilework throughout enhance interiors. IF A PET IS SEEN ENTERING A NON-PET FRIENDLY HOME, GUEST WILL BE CHARGED A PENALTY AND/OR EVICTED.

Sunny Days is a non-pet friendly property, and there are no exceptions. If a pet is seen entering Sunny Days the homeowner and/or Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals has the right to immediately evict the renter with no refunds, regardless of time of day or night.

There will be an automatic non-refundable penalty fee of $1000 added to the reservation if a pet is seen entering the property. If the pet does not leave the property immediately, at the date of the violation, there will be an additional $300 daily charge applied to the renter until eviction. It is up to the contract signee to disperse the pet policy to all persons staying in the home. If a renter's "guests" violate this policy it is assumed they are aware of the policy and the fee will be assessed. The Renter may also be liable for any additional charges related to cleaning fees and/or damage in the home.

We prepared almost all our meals in the kitchen, and enjoyed movie and game night in the living room space. Relatively short walk to the beach, the pools were awesome and appreciated the foodservice at the pool and beach.

The beds were comfortable - even the bunk beds. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. There were even basic spices. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as well. We did have difficulty with the TV in the upstairs bunk - they responded quickly but it was not resolved. Not a problem though. I would definitely recommend this property.

This house was cute, we LOVED having the kitchen on the first floor, and it slept a lot! The only negative for us was the downstairs bunk room being super small (the kids bags donā€™t even fit into the room) and there was only one outlet in that room that was being used by the TV and WiFi. Luckily, customer service brought us a power strip to plug the fans in to because it also got really warm in there (and there was no overhead fan!), Overall, it worked, but we probably wouldnā€™t rent it again with our teenagers because that room was a challenge. Maybe if you had smaller kids down there it would work better!

Our family of four spent 5 days here over Thanksgiving and we needed an additional family to fill it up. The layout was great - 3 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. We had plenty of room to spread it. The house was in great condition. The view from the back porch (and off the master) is a great selling point and the pictures don't do it justice. From upstairs, you can see the ocean off in the distance. There is no development behind the property so it is private and quiet. The location of the house was great too. It's an easy walk to all the hot spots - pools, playground, and the beach. I was surprised that the garage was unavailable. For the price of the house, it would be nice to have access to the garage, some beach towels, and some sand toys available to the guests. Also, the cabinets are fully utilized so there's nowhere to store your groceries, other than the countertops.

The beds and linens are soft. The location is great within the community. We'll be back and would definitely stay here again! My only suggestion is to include beach towels in the unit, we did not know none were included. We also didn't realize the garage was locked off, we had brought our bikes and had nowhere to store them. Not a big deal, but would have been helpful to know. In all, highly recommned!

However, the house didn't seem well loved. There was a cabinet door hanging off the hinges, we couldn't enjoy the back patio due to tons of cockroaches and the kitchen was lacking some vacation essentials like a wine opener. The master bedroom tv didn't work during our entire stay, despite calling customer service to come out and fix it. We love cinnamon shores but I probably wouldn't rent this house again.

Wouldn't Choose Again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Cinnamon Shore and have been here several times and have always had a great experience. However, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend staying at this home again. The photos make the home look like the furnishings are in a lot better condition than they are. For example, the main living room rug is extremely dirty and the woven fabric is pulled out in a lot of places, it looks like dirty tissues on the floor and you go to pick it up, then you realize that it's just part of the rug!The layout upstairs has three bedrooms that are all literally right next to each other and the doors have very large gaps from the floor to the door, which means sound travels extremely easily. If you have babies/children in separate rooms that you are trying to prevent from waking each other up, it's nearly impossible to do so. Additionally, the pillows were the cheapest/worst pillows I've ever used in my life! I wish I had known how terrible they would be so that I could have brought my own. However, for the price you are paying to stay at a home like this, you should have nicer amenities. We also had an issue with the water pressure where the master shower had such low water pressure you couldn't even take a shower. I had to follow up with the Cinnamon Shore office twice to get someone to come out, despite them telling me someone was coming out to fix it. Again, at the prices you are paying, there should be better service.However, on a positive note, the home is in a great location, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need. I just would not choose to stay here again.

4 Generation Celebration

We had an amazing week celebrating my 50th birthday. The house was perfect for accommodating 4 generations & our 9 year old Australian Shepard. It had beautiful views and a very welcoming community. We loved the fabulous heated pool and sunrises and sunsets on the pristine beach. Communication was very quick and responsive. We would highly recommendšŸ˜Š

Reviewer Comments: One of the reasons we love Cinnamon Shore is itā€™s less than two hours from where we live and with three teenager daughters they can invite friends to come stay for a night or two. This house is great for pop in guests with the second downstairs bunk room. My favorite things about this house include the vaulted ceilings, calming decor, master suite with a balcony, and the back deck looking out on the dunes. The only drawback is itā€™s a smallish kitchen and my chef husband isnā€™t thrilled with the electric stovetop. Weā€™ve stayed here twice and loved it. Trying a different house next time so dad can have a bigger kitchen but Iā€™m a little sad about it!

Also, for some inexplicable reason the cleaning crew decided to leave extra bath towels under the sink cabinets next to the toilet brush instead of the perfectly clean and empty linen closet. Front desk replaced the towels for us, but still. Why?!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very disappointed this year in Cinnamon Shores. The past 4 years have been great! Sunny Days was cute, but seemed very unkempt. The ceiling vents were caked in dust and when the coffee table was moved, food crumbs covered the carpet. Stains all over the chairs. No mattress pad covers on the beds. The pools in the resort were cloudy and sides covered in algae.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was perfect for our family of five. The bunk room on the main living floor was great for our 6 and 3 year old boys. It had a fenced in little backyard area which was very nice. The master had a balcony with a hammock and we enjoyed laying on it to feel the evening breeze off of the water. We loved the property so much, we inquired about possibly purchasing it! Canā€™t wait to return.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our rental home, however, we were very disappointed that no precautions seemed to be in place for COVID. The front desk staff did wear masks, which we appreciated, but the restaurant, ice cream shop and market workers were not wearing masks or gloves, and no social distancing was happening in dining areas. There was also no hand sanitizer available in the ice cream shop. We did not feel comfortable going back in and wished it was taken more seriously with the rapidly growing cases in Texas.

I really can't think of anything else we'd need except for maybe a few more days :) Highly recommend!
