My name is Tim and it is my pleasure to offer you a stay at my families beachside holiday house - it is our family's oasis. Family groups love our 3 Queen beds!

Bring the family as well as your friends to stay overnight at our charming, well appointed beach house. Set on 3/4 of an acre and abutting 65 acre Citation Reserve, you will relax as soon as you walk in and survey the views out over the reserve from the kitchen. The gorgeous balcony, shaded slightly by mottled leaves of the James Stirling and Silver Birch, has been the setting for many a summer's evening dinner party.

Walk to the beach down the Balcombe Creek estuary boardwalk.

A 20 minute stroll to Mt Martha shops and beach along the Balcombe Creek boardwalk is the best way to start anybody's day! If you need some exercise, or just some peace and solitude, the boardwalk is a wonderful place to walk and catchup with your thoughts, or just walk the dog away from the hustle and bustle!

You can listen to the birds on the deck at breakfast, or watch the kookaburra's on the balcony which wraps around the whole house.

Pets welcome, with prior permission.

The property has 3 Queen beds, all new or near new, 2 bunks for the kids, a spare single mattress for the kids friends, and a very large master bedroom. We have had many guests over 12+ years, and they have all commented on how peaceful our retreat is.

The property was really well presented, very clean and lots of space with lovely views over an expansive garden, and a wraparound verandah, which everyone enjoyed. Lots of games for entertainment, a generous kitchen and lounge area, and a large yard, which backed onto a reserve. Surrounded by bushland and only a 20-minute walk into the welcoming village of Mount Martha and its crystal-clear beaches.The property is in a quiet location and there is plenty of space for people and dogs. The large yard is fenced, but it may not be secure for dogs, so it's worth considering bringing a gate for the front entrance.Great holiday location!

Wonderful Stay at Mt Martha!We absolutely loved it. The place was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and beautifully set in a peaceful area. Everything we needed was close by, from shops and cafes to the beach and walking trails.The host was very friendly and quick to respond to all our messages, making check-in and communication effortless. Beautiful spot

We had such a great stay. The house is in a beautiful setting with a big lawn area and bushland around it which made for a peaceful holiday. Tim was great, and we hope to be back again in the future.

The house was in excellent condition - well maintained and spotlessly clean. Correspondence with the owner was easy and timely. A highlight was the friendly kookaburras that came to say hello every day (and seek a meal of course).

Property was well presented and clean. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs had good A/C which was needed on a 40 degree day! Lovely outlook amongst the trees. Excellent location.Downstairs bathroom has a shower over bath with a considerable step down and temperature of shower hard to regulate due to low pressure, this is not suitable for elderly visitors however upstairs bathroom excellent and suitable.

Family Reunion

Very relaxing and comfortable home. Plenty of room for a family of 4-6 with a great yard to spend time in. Close proximity to great shops for food, wine and gifts. Mount Martha has always been a great destination to visit with much to see and do.

Sweeping greenery views

We loved our weekend at this spacious beach house! Tim was a thoughtful and attentive host. The setting is divine, with green views as far as the eye could see. We had breakfast and drinks/dinner on the large, wraparound verandah each day, marvelling at the quiet and birdsong. Access to the boardwalk/trail was a highlight for daily exercise and the short drive to the beach was ideal

We had an amazing time! Tim made our stay so welcoming, with his messges apon arrival to our checkout. He was an absolute gentleman. The place was huge, upstairs was amazing, balcony had amazing vibes. Kitchen and lounge room was really spacious. The backyard is on another level for space but also so many thing you can do outside.Tim also let our golden retreivers join us as well, they had a blast too. Definitely would love to visit again. Thanks Tim.

Christmas stay at Mt. Martha

During the year if Covid with on again , off again holidays it was great to finally get away. Great communication with the owner helped remove anxiety about the hire of the house. It was in a fantastic position where we could walk along the boardwalk every morning to the beach for coffee. Xmas was fabulous and even our ‘care’ dog loved it.

A Retreat in Nature

The location is amazing adjacent to the Balcombe santuary and if you have dogs, this is a great place to be as there are many walks for them. The house however needs updating with the aircon not being available in the master bedroom upstairs making it diffcult to sleep on warm nights despite having fans.The host was well responsive to messages and this was reassuring that our needs would be catered to even before we arrived.

Great dog friendly house

We recently spent 6 nights here with our 2 golden retrievers. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful part of Mount Martha and very secuely fenced. The house was comfortable and warm. Tim was fantasic to deal with. We are looking to move to the area and it was a perfect place to explore from. If you are a dog owner there are lead free beaches and a very large bushy area that is part of the Briars that is also off lead.

Private Oasis

A cosy home surrounded by an amazing treed vista. Walking tracks literally at your finger tips for both family and furry friends to enjoy. A very spacious home for everyone to find a place to relax and chill out. The kitchen was very well equipped for any dish that we wanted to cook up. The kids loved the boogie boards provided. It certainly made our days at the beach full of fun, so a big thanks.

A Very Welcoming Getaway

The property was exactly what we were anticipating & more with access to Balcombe Reserve & the boardwalk running along Balcombe Creek to the beach. The balcony deck around the house was excellent & a great place to relax as the teens played badminton on the large lawn area below - we even dusted off the frisbee. The property was well maintained for its age & very comfortable. Tim was an exceptional host & responsive to a couple of our minor enquiries. The only drawback was our stay was too short at this awesome location. We will book again & can recommend all aspects of Tim's "Family Beachside Holiday House". Appreciated, Greg & crew

Host welcoming, amenities okay, except BBQ which was not fit to use. Did not look at the hot tub due to inclement weather. Building in need of a good clean outside and inside. Everything you need for a relaxing break

Our intergenerational family group of 8 loved this large home with 4 bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable and the house was in a private, leafy setting within a few minutes drive of Mt Martha village. Our favourite activity was enjoying leisurely meals outside on the veranda, and exploring the area. Everything we needed for a relaxing break including board games and BBQs were included.

Our holiday house is our sanctuary! It is adjacent to the 60-hectare Citation Reserve so when you sit in the living room or on the balcony you feel like you are in the trees! The birds, stars and peace & quiet make this a beach & garden holiday house like no other. Walk to the Mt Martha for hamlet for coffee, explore the walking trails on the boardwalk, go to the beach, have the kids play soccer in the huge fenced yard - it's all right there.
