Renovated 1890 federation home. It's within walking distance of the famous Manly surf beach and sparkling Sydney Harbour. This majestic home of 5 bedrooms has the ornate charm of yesteryear with open fireplaces and high ceilings with a tastefully designed contemporary kitchen, and open plan indoor/outdoor dining catering to today's entertainment needs.

A large in-ground pool surrounded by sumptuous landscaping makes this a wonderful home to relax and unwind in after samplings Sydney or Manly's adventures or delights.

Sleeps up to 10. A great family home. (Minimum 10 days rental period)

Close to transport to Sydney city - 15 minutes by fast ferry, 25 mins by bus to the city. 40 mins by bus to Palm beach.

Manly is renowned for its great beaches, cafes and a wide variety of restaurants catering for all budgets.

Located 5 minutes walk to Manly and less than ten minutes to the beach you will be able to relax and enjoy Manly and Sydney without the need for a car.

Beautiful home close to Manly beach

The house is quite beautiful, extremely comfortable and very spacious. The indoor/outdoor living arrangement is superb and ideal for a family holiday. I stayed over Christmas and New Year and the weather was great but I know the house would be extremely cosy in the winter too. The location could not be better and the host is exceptional, providing whatever we required with no hesitation.

We had one of the best family holidays ever over Christmas in this gorgeous historical home. The house is in an amazing location, a short 2 minute walk to gorgeous Fairlight beach and less than 10 minute walk into Manly. The pool is a great size, lovely outdoor table for BBQ dinners, and a lounge area under cover by the pool. Open plan kitchen and living area just perfect with everything you need to cook a holiday dinner. Two lovely little balconies in the upstairs bedroom enabled us to see the sunset, as well as the Manly fireworks on NYE. This house inspires healthy living, up with the gorgeous sunrise and birds chirping, and early to bed with that cool ocean breeze. Internet was robust enough for multiple users, and Foxtel was a life saver for my in laws. The owners were incredible responsive to mundane questions we had, and offered a lot of local knowledge. Local butcher up the road was a gem! Look no further, this is the perfect beach retreat.

Luxury Living

My family had a wonderful time in this beautiful house in Fairlight. Very close to beaches, shops, transport and the beautiful Manly to Spit coastal walkway. Our children enjoyed a bedroom each and we loved the master bedroom upstairs with TV, large ensuite, walk in robe, 2 balconies, one with the view of the harbour. We were spoilt over the xmas/new year period with the view of the yachts in the Sydney to Hobart race and fireworks on New Years eve! The kitchen and living areas were large and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the adjoining outdoor entertaining area. This is undercover and directly next to the fenced pool. We could relax there whilst watching the children swim. There was also a sound system with speakers to this area that we all enjoyed. We had an 18 month old with us and the fact that the front yard and pool area was fenced made it very safe and suitable for us. It was a great house and we couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. Would definitely stay again.

GREAT stay in this excellent property!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in this superb property. Very well located, in a calm street, we all felt in love with the property in which we found many unexpected good surprises. The owner are helpful if you need anything, and told us about where we had to go and what we had to do in Sydney, much appreciated. The neighborhood is also an advantage, we've met nice and helpful people. I definitely recommend this property that offers everything you need to enjoy your holidays!

It is the perfect base for a beach life style whilst being 20 minutes form the city by ferry.
The open plan dining room makes entertaining a breeze and we enjoy many meals around our large hardwood dining table.
The house is cool, relaxing and has a unique blend of old and new.
