My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday home. Very well presented. I like it especially as my 4 grandkids are 5 and under and enjoyed spending quite a bit of time in the backyard. It was a home away from home with all the necessities we needed for the holiday. Thanks Christina we had a great time at the home.
Such a comfortable house, everything we needed for our family!
Nice quiet street but still very close to beach! Perfect spot for our dogs also!
Great having smart tvs for the kids!
Lovely enclosed back garden with climbing frame & basket ball hoop👍
Would definitely come back for another family getaway!
We loved our stay!! The house was spotless clean and very well maintained.
It was also very well equipped and we didn’t need anything or had to worry about anything. Great space and perfect location . If we have another opportunity we will be staying there again. 😁
Good layout, clean, well maintained! Perfect home for a group or several families. Kitchen was well stocked, furniture is clean and current. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space. The fenced yard is clean, safe and wonderful place to enjoy. Location is great, a short easy walk to the beach ( did it barefoot several times) easy bike into town. On a flat quiet residential street perfect for biking and basketball. We had a wonderful stay!
We had a lovely stay on this property. The house is huge, rooms are spacious, kitchen are complete of appliances and utensils. Lots of storage in each room and the kitchen. The house is clean and Christina is easy to talk to she even agreed a late check out for us. Few minutes walk to the beach, quiet and safe neighbourhood.
We will be coming back for sure.

Nice location, but an uncomfortable stay.
Our first impressions weren't very good as the house wasn't cleaned too well. That was really off putting and there was even a thick layer of green sludge inside the dishwasher, so we couldn't use it the whole time, which was really a pain having to hand wash everything. Some of the dishes in the cupboard were even filthy!!
I contacted the owner regarding this within 10 mins of our arrival and never heard back from them. They never even addressed our issues. They never got back in touch with us and they still haven't even though we are home now!
There was mould on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms, which is a huge health hazzard!
There were only blinds on the windows of the bedrooms. Which meant 4am sunlight pouring into the room and cranky kids and parents due to the early wake ups. A bit of money spent on black out blinds would have been useful.
It was freezing when we arrived. The only air-con they had was in the kitchen area. And we had to pull out radiators covered with thick layers of dust on them to use in the bedrooms and living room to get a bit of warmth. We managed to get hold of some firewood for the fireplace to warm up the house a little at nights. The owners couldn't even supply firewood!! Our friends who stayed on 2 other other properties both had mountains of firewood supplied to them for their use!!
Not even enough extra blankets for each person to be able to have one to pull out from the cupboards!!
Very very stingey on what was supplied.
So quite an uncomfortable stay and the unclean feel of the property was really not pleasant.
Very stingey on towels supplied as well.
The only good thing I could say was that they allowed us to have our dog there. That was the only reason we chose this place. And the proximity to the beach. But even those things won't have us booking this place again unfortunately.
They need to sort out their air-con/heating situation, clean the place properly and thoroughly before every booking (including the dishwasher and dishes), put black out blind in bedrooms, ensure mould situation is sorted out, supply more linen/blankets/towels, proper heating in the house - NOT THESE RUBBISH FILTHY RADIATORS and supply ample amounts of firewood for the fireplace!
I wish I could say more positive things about the accommodation. But it was genuinely an uncomfortable stay, it was freezing inside the house (and I'm sure it would be stinking hot in summer too) as all they had were half broken fans for use

Response from VrboOwner on 13 Aug 2023
Dear Solmaz
We were very disappointed to read this review as we pride ourselves on keeping our family property in the best possible condition.
We provided you with three mobile phone numbers in case of any urgent contact required and didn’t hear from you from any of them.
We are surprised that in December 16-22nd your complaint was due to the house being cold. December is not a month we would anticipate a fire being lit in the house, nor the radiators being used, especially given the record temperatures.
I am pleased to say since your stay however we have installed ceiling fans in every bedroom.
I am aware that the dishwasher hadn’t completed a cycle after your stay so I understand that is the reason for the dirty water in the dishwasher. If you had called we could have sorted this over the phone and I would have happily sent my cleaner over to check the property and address your concerns.
We have used the same cleaners with a very high standard for many years now and we take your feedback about the cleanliness very seriously
The house has also subsequently had a spring clean which I myself have inspected and approved. In response to your complaint about towels. Each guest is supplied with a bath towel and our policy states you must bring your own beach towel.
I do note now your email to the VRBO site and regret that you didn’t use the numbers provided as it appears the issues you have raised could have been addressed quickly.
We apologize for your discomfort
Kind regards
Christina
If you are looking for a very comfortable, modern and functional house this one is for you. A short walk to the beach in a lovely quite street.
Ideal for two families sharing, well equipped and maintained we really did love our stay
The house was large and well equipped, located in a quite street just 100m from Geographe Bay. The backyard was perfect for our doggo who enjoyed the trip as much as we did. Cannot recommend Christina's property enough.
We stayed for 6 nights and had a very relaxed time with family in the lead up to Christmas. The house is situated in a perfect location just out of Dunsborough so you can access the town easily but your far away enough to avoid the holiday peak. The beach is just over the road, the water is turquoise and crystal clear, is great for swimming and we rarely saw anyone on the beach while we were there. The house is well equipped and all rooms are well presented (the large kitchen is a cooks dream) All in all we had an amazing stay, made lots of great memories and will definitely be back again if we ever get the opportunity.
massive house and great design. Perfect for what we needed.

Comfortable house in great location close to beach and easy ride to Dunsborough town
The house is a good design for two families as we had separate wings and shared common spaces. The high ceilings and enclosed second TV room made family life with different aged kids comfortable, although the teens (and us parents) missed having wifi. Beds were comfortable enough although smaller than we're used to. Well equipped kitchen. Outdoor areas are fine, the front is nice and open, and the enclosed rear yard has monkey bars. Nice quiet street with an easy walk to Quindalup beach, and a short bike ride or drive to Dunsborough.

Absolutely brilliant location
Very spacious, great back yard and rooms all large. Excellent for two families.
Main draw back was the house was a bit dusty and needed an air & a spray for spiders (& cobweb removal). Front lawn was prickly and much of it dead. TV in theatre room had poor signal (other tv was fine)

Very comfortable home with a great location.
We loved the location with its very close proximity to the beach. It is a lovely walk to town and far enough away so we didn't have to get caught in traffic and too many people. The house was very well presented and had everything we needed. We chose this home as we were able to take our dogs. We stay at Dunsborough quite often so will book this one again.

Good location and facilities
We had a very pleasant holiday at Stoneshore. The property was large enough and very suitable for our group of six adults, one toddler and one small dog. The equipment and facilities were good however I thought that the linen and especially the towels could have been at at better quality as we found the bathroom towels to be very small and thin for the price we paid. Other than that this house ticks all the "good" boxes for a family holiday and would recommend it to F&Fs.

Brilliant location!
A comfortable family home in a quiet cul de sac 300 metres from a lovely beach. It is a 4 km walk to Dunsborough on a shaded walking path. The beach is also great for walking. The beach us protected from winds so calm and serene. The layout of the house allows privacy for 2 families.
