The Cottage Hunter Valley - recently renovated with new playground!

THE COTTAGE is a fabulous country cottage in a great location - Just a few minutes drive from the Crowne Plaza golf course - Close to the wonderful restaurants of Lovedale and only a 5 minute drive to the centre of Pokolbin.

TARIFFS:2 night minimum stay with 3 nights on Long Weekends, Lovedale Long Lunch weekend, Xmas/new Year & Easter.

Rate:
$350/night for up to 6 people

The Cottage has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. 2nd bedroom also has a bunk bed. In the winter months there are electric blankets on the queen beds. A reverse cycle air conditioner is available in the Lounge/kitchen for heating or cooling. The kitchen is made of recycled wood that gives it a rustic country appearance. The kitchen is well equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and an electric cooktop. There is crockery and cutlery for 6 guests. There is a TV, DVD player, CD player & radio in the Lounge area, along with two 3 seater lounges.
All linen is supplied.
The bathroom has an old-fashioned claw-foot bath for a relaxing soak. There is also a shower and vanity. The toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom. Soap, shampoos, hairdryer are supplied. Also iron & ironing board. Timber french doors open onto a spacious outdoor entertaining area that has a table setting and hooded gas BBQ. The views from the entertaining area are relaxing - gum trees and the occasional kangaroo.

The tariff of a weekend is based on hiring the Cottage with linen and bedding supplied for up to 6 people- a maximum of 6 people.

Long weekends, Lovedale Long Lunch Weekend, Easter, Xmas/New year - are all 3-night minimum stays.


Breakfast foods are not included in the tariff as often our guests prefer to self-cater or dine out at the many local restaurants.

Rubbish removal is covered for your stay however any additional rubbish larger than what can fit in a residential bin may require additional rubbish removal fees.

Cosy cottage in a perfect location

What a wonderful place to stay! The cottage was cozy, had everything we needed, and in a perfect location, in the bush, but still so close to everything........so peaceful and serene. Loved the fireplace!! ā¤ Also cooking breakfast on the outdoor BBQ after going for a morning walk amongst the surrounding nature. I would stay here again, and highly recommend it. We had a fabulous weekend in the Hunter Valley! Thanks Daniel

Great Location

The property was in an excellent location and we enjoyed the privacy we had from our neighbours. The place was a short drive to various wineries and restaurants in town which made it a very convenient place to stay. Daniel was also very easy to contact and communicate with.

Beautiful hideaway

This is a lovely little cabin with big verandahā€™s which were great for the wet weather we had. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful with lots of trees and kangaroos. The cottage is cosy and clean. There is no oven or microwave which didnā€™t matter to us as we likes using the big bbq. Will definitely stay again.

Great spot for a getaway

We enjoyed our stay greatly. Really appreciated the location - very near vineyards + other attractions, yet in a secluded bush spot with a lot of space for our teens to chuck the frisbee. The flying fox was a big hit. Would definitely stay here again.

The Cottage in Lovedale

We enjoyed our winter stay discovering new venues along Lovedale Road including Binnorie Cheese, The Smokhouse on Majors Lane and Andina Olive Tasting. The Sabor Dessert and Wine bar is excellent. Many places are closed mid week but with a 3 night stay we eventually saw everything on our list. The cottage is a lovely rustic, quiet, secluded place down a well maintained dirt road with plenty of wood on the property to gather sticks for our winter slow combustion fire. Thank you for our stay.

Small hiccup upon arrival though Daniel was extremely prompt and professional handling our situation! The property is idealic and quaint though only moments from the centre of town. Overall a great stay, many thanks to Dan for all his assistance!
