About the property

3 BR, 2 BA, 2500 SF. Waterfront. Best Views, Walk To Aquarium, Rogue, Beach!

Welcome to Yaquina Bay Club, a luxury waterfront escape in historic South Beach, Newport.

Enjoy an easy walk to the beach, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Rogue Brewery, Hatfield Marine Center, South Beach State Park, and the Seafood and Wine Festival, not to mention the jetty, marina and the public fishing pier. You can also walk to the historic Bayfront via the Yaquina Bay Bridge.

This like-new home was previously the private residence of the developer, and is almost double the size of the other units in the complex.

Pet friendly, waterfront, and with ample parking for your boat or RV.

Unique decor, amazing ambiance and a sparkling new spa round off your complete vacation package! A new addition is a 100" Hi-Rez projection screen and projector for movie nights or gaming on your system.

Crab or clam right out the front door! Crab traps, fishing poles and clam guns are provided, as is an outdoor crab steamer and propane tank.

There is also a full-size ping-pong table.

An extra large lot allows you to bring your boat or RV along, and the boat launch is right around the corner.

Directly to the south of the home is the South Beach State Park, with fishing, beach access, equestrian trails and miles of hiking trails.

Just to the north are the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Rogue Brewery, the Newport Marina and new boat launch, the public fishing pier, and nature trails.

All are a short walk or bike ride away. Boat owners can walk to the marina in a few minutes.

Inside the home, there are three large, bright bedrooms, two with water views and one with a deluxe ensuite master bath with heated floors and views of the Yaquina Bay Bridge.

The home is decorated with style and detail to attention, and with your comfort in mind.

All of the beds have new Serta Perfect Sleep mattresses, there are numerous comfortable seating and dining options, and everywhere you look there are wonderful vintage pieces and cool decor.

The kitchen is a chef's dream, with stainless steel appliances, a gas range, a wide expanse of quartz countertops, and bar seating.

The open floor plan makes it easy to entertain your guests while you are whipping up a gourmet meal.

Imagine sipping coffee and watching the fishing boats as they head to sea in the morning for their daily catch.

Watch them return in the afternoon, while you relax with a glass of wine in the lounge.

Head to the docks and buy the just-caught seafood directly off some of the boats to grill for dinner, or swing by the local oyster farm to pick up some beauties from their store.

The Master Bedroom features a king-size sleigh bed, comfy seating, a cozy fireplace, two large closets and a luxurious ensuite Master Bath with heated floors, quartz counters and travertine marble in the spa-like shower.

There is also direct access to the deck and a large, bright laundry room.

The other two bedrooms are on the first floor, both with water views.

One room has a king-size raised sleigh bed with dual steps, a cozy fireplace, and a sitting area with rocking chairs and throws to enjoy the gorgeous water and bridge views, or watch the large flatscreen HDTV.

The third bedroom has two twin captain's beds, a game table with comfortable chairs for your next competition, and a large flatscreen HDTV, along with those great water views.

These rooms share the first floor with a luxurious, large full bath with heated floors, quartz counters, and water views.

For larger guest groups, there is a queen-size Aerobed 24" air mattress with a quick inflate pump.

In the main living area, there is a huge stacked stone gas fireplace framed by large rustic wood beams, a large flatscreen HDTV, plush overstuffed seating for six, (some with recliners, and leather ottomans for these seats without).

Also in this room is an elegant rustic/contemporary dining area with a reclaimed wood dining table and pub-height pub bench that seats six, with an adjacent bar area that seats four.

In the waterfront lounge, take in the incredible views of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Newport Harbor, Yaquina Bay and the ocean. At night, you can convert the lounge into your own movie theater with a 100" screen and Hi-Rez projector for movie nights or gaming on your system.

The scene is completely dynamic,

with fishing boats, sea lions, fog horns, and the occasional bald eagle or pod of orcas.

Harbor seals are almost always found splashing about in the water right outside the house.

There is a large deck with a gas grill, a brand-new five-person spa, comfy Adirondack chairs with leg rests, and water views. The deck has a glass windscreen for your comfort.

Each living area has separate climate controls to further enhance your experience.

The large, light and bright two-car garage has a competition-size ping-pong table, inflatable raft and paddles, fishing poles, crab trap and clam gun for your use, along with an outdoor steamer to steam your catch of Dungeness crab or clams.

There is also a dog corral for your furry friends when you head out on the town.

This location is so incredible, both for the ease of access to the major Central Coast attractions, as well as the incredible, dynamic views, and recreation opportunities right outside your door.

There is even more to do within a short driving distance as you explore the incredible Central Oregon coast.

Your perfect vacation is waiting for you!

About Lauri Hines

We are former San Diegans who now live in the Oregon Wine Country, and love to travel with our beloved Rottweilers.

Roy is a physician, and Lauri is in commercial real estate, so vacation rentals really started as a sideline.

We bought our first vacation rental in Julian, CA, and loved it so much we decided to open it to other travelers who also wanted a getaway.

The home was soon booked up, a movie was filmed on-site, and we loved the fact that many guests returned on a regular basis to enjoy the home we loved so much.

Since then, we have stayed in many vacation rentals, with and without our dogs, and have used our stays to develop best practices to welcome our guests on their vacations.

Our passion is to create amazing homes that our guests will love: An amazing location, unique and stylish decor, superb comfort, a calming ambiance, and fun for the whole group.

From anniversaries to family reunions, milestone birthdays, and even times when families are gathering to say goodbye to a loved one, it is our honor and privilege to help our guests with their vacation accommodations.

Our homes reflect all of the happy vibes from family reunions and good times that our guests have enjoyed.

We cherish all of the collective memories. The great feedback from our guests drives our passion to create the best experience possible for them.

We work hard to provide a unique and special vacation rental experience for our guests, because spending time and making memories with the people who are important in your life are the experiences that matter most.

We love to hear from our guests who have had memorable vacations in our homes, and to welcome them back for repeat visits over the years. We really

cherish our repeat guests, some of whom have become our friends.

We love constructive feedback from our guests, and are constantly updating and improving our homes to provide a great experience for our guests.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

Why Lauri Hines chose South Beach

We live on a lakeview farm in Oregon, but as California transplants we missed the coast. We visited many communities in the Central Coast area, but fell in love with Newport.

This home was the personal residence of the developer who built the small waterfront development. The home is about 1,100 square feet larger than the other units, with an oversized lot that can accommodate boat or RV parking.

We loved the luxury touches of this home, from the quartz counters, the separate climate controhs for each room, heated bathroom floors, and of course the gorgeous and ever-changing view. This location is amazing. The aquarium, Hatfield Marine Science Center, Rogue Brewery and the marina are all a short walk or bike ride in one direction, while to the other are the South Beach State Park, the Jetty, the beach and miles of hiking and equestrian trails. We think this is the perfect place to enjoy all the central coast offers in style.

What makes this townhome unique

Where else can you have so many uniquely wonderful attraction, both natural and man-made, in one location? You can easily stay here a week, never get in your car, and not run out of things to do.

However, a short jaunt over the bridge is Newport proper, with the fabulous Nye Beach area. Ten minutes up the coast is Depoe Bay, a charming whale watching town (there is a pod of year-round whale residents) that boasts the world's smallest harbor. Lincoln City is 30 minutes to the north.

To the south are the lovely towns of Waldport, Yachats and Florence.

Like wildlife? Newport's beloved sea lions can be heard from the house (and occasionally swimming by) and pods of dolphins and Orcas are not uncommon. Bald eagles can also be seen here, along with osprey and other sea birds. Like to fish? Dungeness crabs and razor clams are right outside the door, and the jetty is a great fishing spot as well. There is also a public fishing pier within a five minute walk, as well as a boat launch. There is Boat or RV parking at the home.

Amazing view, clean and perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I traveled to Newport for the Newport Wine and Seafood Festival this past weekend and had a great experience staying here! It was cozy, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for. It was also within walking distance to the festival which was the icing on the cake :)

The townhouse is fantastic!! It’s clean, perfect location and comfortable. We will be back!

  • 5 of 5

We stay there (our second time) because of the beautiful view of the Newport bridge, it’s cleanliness, and we get to take long walks on the South Jetty with our small dogs. The view of the bay is also fantastic. It’s also very convenient to our daughter who lives in nearby Toledo and works in Depoe Bay. We love this townhouse also because of the great parking (and the ping pong table in the garage!!)

Loved the home and its' location. Amazing views of the harbor and bayfront. Normally we like oceanfront properties, but this was a very pleasant change! Hot tub and large projector TV were nice extras. Will definitely want to come back!!!

Clean, convenient property

This property worked well for our trip to Newport for the Bay to Brews race. I could walk to the starting line and family could watch me run past twice. We usually stay where we can watch the waves but the sea lions provided plenty of entertainment.

South Beach is the location of the top ranked attraction on the Oregon Coast, the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It is also the headquarters of Rogue Brewery and the Wine and Seafood Festival.

It is an easy walk from Yaquina Bay Club the aquarium, Rogue Brewery, the Hatfield Marine Center and the public fishing pier.

Also within immediate walking distance are the jetty, the beach, South Beach State Park (the largest park of its kind in Oregon) and miles and miles of equestrian and hiking trails.

A short drive over the historic Yaquina Bay Bridge is the hip Nye Beach neighborhood. For over 100 years, people from Portland and the Willamette Valley have been coming to Nye Beach in search of solace from the Pacific Ocean.

In times past, cottages were built where women and children would spend their summers while the men of their families joined them for the weekend excursions in the beautiful Nye Creek area. In 1891, a boardwalk was built connecting the Nye Creek to the Newport Bayfront.

The Bayfront, home to the colorful Newport fishing fleet, also boasts many fine restaurants, our beloved resident Sea Lions, shopping and attractions. It is also a working sea port.
