Low key, quiet location

The condo had everything I needed for an easy, quiet getaway. I loved lounging on the grassy bluff, overlooking the ocean. There were resort properties nearby for spa and dining and a cute little market.

Fabulous location

Wonderful location. Beach is walking distance and fabulous. Pool at facility and restaurants on location were convenient. Grocery store close by. Kitchen well stocked. Pull out sofa and bed in bedroom comfortable. Would stay here again.

Always beautiful

Tastefully decorated, only thing I would change would be maybe a shelf in bathroom over toilet for the towel storage, as extra towels were placed in vanity drawers, . Also need some towels for kitchen as we had to use the bathroom hand towels for drying the dishes

Location, location, location!!!! Great snorking and restaurants and it was wonderful to have the onsite rental company for gear. Condo could use a little TLC. Painted tub was chipping and couch was very uncomfortable. Well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies though. Would recommend to anyone who wants to be in a great location and is ok with outdated.

Always nice at Napili Shores

Can’t complain about location. Been coming here since we were kids ourselves. This unit is decent. Location above pool view is nice. Stayed in about 6 different units here over time and this one is nice but needs some updating. They give you bare minimum for basics such as toiletries (paper towels, TP, garbage bags, dish soap & detergent), spices (only salt and pepper), and minimum amount of dishes (plates, bowls, pots and pans) where you’re doing dishes often and have to purchase a lot of the basics we haven’t had to purchase with other units. Overall, comfortable enough pull out bed and bed…and again, you can’t beat the location or the price for the area, we had a great time.😊

Napili Shores Resort is really nice

We stayed a week at Napili Shores Resort. I especially liked the landscaping in the area between the two rows of condos. The pool was great; nice and clean. The staff in the front office was very helpful and friendly. Our unit was clean and well provisioned. Access to the excellent Napili Bay Beach was very close. My only minor complaint was that there were some things in our unit that were in need of renovation (chipped laminate on the kitchen countertop, missing stopper in the bathroom sink, chips in the shower stall surface.) But these were minor, and I assume reflected in the price. Overall I would give this a very high rating and we are very likely to stay there again in the future.

Everything we needed

I was worried about the sleeper sofa so we stopped at Walmart for a blow up mattress. Took it back the next day. The memory foam mattress on the sofa was just fine. Everyone slept well. We have stayed at Napili Shores in the past so there were no surprises. Best way to get Mac pancakes from the Gazebo is call for take out. Always a long line to get in. Took advantage of the The 5315 Restaurant for Happy Hour. Affordable Mai Tais and Poke. Unit sits above the grills so people were hanging around cooking and eating in the evening. Lastly the light on the outside wall is bright and lights the bedroom all night. I slept with a mask. Could use darkening shades or drapes. Kitchen needs a B-B-Que spatula. But had a wonderful time lying on Napili Beach, watching turtles in the cove nextdoor and enjoying the property. This is a recommend if you're on a budget.

Sweet unit

This condo worked perfectly for my two teens and I. Everything we needed for our 5-night stay was provided: towels, shampoo, pots, pans, serving tray, coffee filters, etc. The location of the unit is great. It's a corner unit, so neighbors are on one side only, and you're right next to the stairs. You can see the pool from the lanai, which is handy for checking to see if it's busy or not. The only minor issue was that the tension rod that holds the shower curtain came down when I hung my wet swimsuit on it. I got it back up with no problem. Parking close to the unit was never a problem. It was our first stay in Hawaii, and we definitely would return.

Great stay

I have stayed at a number of places on Maui. You really have to decide what you want. I prefer the older units where I don't have to waste my time waiting for the elevator and trying to find a chair at the pool. This place is quiet with really nice friendly guests. One women gave us her inner tubes for the kids as she was leaving and couldn't take them. These places leave things like biggie board, beach chairs and other donations from other guests. We had a unit next to the pool and BBQ's. It was awesome with small kids who have to go to the bathroom all the time. The restaurant was great and reasonably priced. And the Gazebo has the amazing coconut pancakes. If you want the fancy smancy places this is not for you but if you want a quiet place with really nice grounds and a short walk to the most fun beach give it a try. I would stay here again,

Needs an update

The location was great and the facilities at the Outrigger were excellent. The condo unit was outdated and needs to be updated. Refrigerator has rust on door. Oven dial does not have temperature settings. Bathroom mirror has black spots all over it. Carpet looked like original from 1976. Ceramic floors need to be replaced. My wife says we would never use that unit until it was updated. We would go back to Napili Shores.

Great location!

Excellent location, within EASY walking distance to 3 different bays to snorkel in. There is no direct access to a sandy beach due to erosion, but you are able to have direct access to tidepools. Plus, it is just a 5-10 minute walk to Napili Bay. . This condo is showing signs of wear (chipped floor tiles, etc.), so if that bothers you, choose a different place to stay. Wonderful complex with 2 pools, yard games, on-site laundry, and 2 restaurants. We had 2 minor issues (unrelated to the actual condo) and the response was amazingly prompt. Someone came to help us within 40 minutes. My 6-foot teenage son said the sofa bed was extremely comfortable, and the bed in the master was also just perfect. The check-in process was easy and the counter personnel friendly & warm. There is an onsite store for sunscreen, swim shirts, and snorkel and umbrella rentals. We loved our stay here and would definitely return. Thank you for such a relaxing experience.

Napili Shores is my favorite place to stay

I have stayed at Napili Shores several times. It is a beautiful place. Some of the units there have been updated (granite tops, new appliances, etc.) others have not been updated. This one has not been updated yet. The unit was clean and nice. I would stay there again. There was no bedding for the hide-a-bed so I called the property manager and they brought some to me in a timely manner. There were a few concerns/suggestions I emailed to the property manager later in the week, I did not get a response. I was disappointed about that. Little things like quality/amount of kitchen dishes. A damaged chair etc. nothing major and nothing that would prevent me from staying in this unit again. Things I wanted to make sure the owner was aware of since they are not easily noticed in a basic walk through or cleaning. Overall the unit is nice and the facility is wonderful i always stay at Napili Shores and would not hesitate to stY in this unit again.
