Kookaburras and kangaroos are the much-loved locals that show up at this holiday cottage in peaceful Currarong. A large covered deck is great for relaxing after a day of swimming at the many local beaches. Sit back and enjoy the daily visits.
For art lovers the Currarong Art Trail is held on the first Saturday of every month (currarongarttrail.com.au).
Pets are welcome. Please note the garden area is not fenced, and pets will need tick and flea prevention.

Location

Only 500m to Bosom Beach and a short stroll or drive to the pristine beaches and many rockpools of Currarong and the Beecroft Peninsula where you can spot dolphins and seasonal whales.

Zest at the Beach, near the reserve, is handy for coffee and fish and chips. And the Currarong Bowling Club has a popular bistro and holds special events (facebook.com/currarongclub).

Kookaburra is high up in the village and backs onto Beecroft Peninsula, making for a private setting.

Currarong is about three hours south of Sydney and from here you can enjoy day trips to many swimming places and bushwalks.
