101 Republic Near Yellowstone

Located four miles from Yellowstone National Park in Cooke City, this mountain-town retreat offers three levels of indoor and outdoor living, with stunning views of Mt Republic.

You and your guests will enjoy the comfortable communal spaces as well as the ability to spread out in this spacious home with 2,200 square feet of living space.
Both the main and lower levels have their own living room and dining areas. The lower level has an outdoor covered patio, and the main floor has a large deck in the front with mountain views. There is a full kitchen on the main level and a kitchenette downstairs.
On the lower level, there are 2 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed, and the other has two twin beds. There is another queen bed in the living area of the lower level and two more pull-out twin beds in the ping-pong loft above the main level. The bedroom on main level has a king size bed and a rollaway bed
Hiking and fishing opportunities surround Cooke City. Barronette Peak Cross Country Ski Trail inside Yellowstone Park is minutes away. The Lamar Valley is 15 miles away. Bring your binoculars or spotting scope to view a wide variety of wildlife.

This property was perfect for our family vacation with teenagers. We liked being able to walk up to Miners for pizza. Also, staying in Cooke City increased the amount of time spent in the Lamar Valley. The linens were great and the kitchen is stocked very well. We truly relaxed!

Advertised to sleep 8. Buried in the details was a50 per night per person charge for more than 5 people. For 4 of the 5 nights I had to pay an additional 150 because we were a total of 8 guests.

If you would have been honest at the beginning and booked for 8 there would not have been a problem , when you book for 1 guest and show up with 8 it’s a lot more work to clean , and I guess the no dog rule did not matter either . Be careful if you rent to this person , dishonest and very needy.

Perfect House

The house was clean and the host was very friendly and easy to work with when booking. Can’t beat the view out the kitchen and the location within Cooke City. I won’t stay anywhere else! This is a must stay.

Views, hikes and beautiful mountains surround you in all directions from Yellowstone to the Beartooth Highway. Cooke City, a historical mining town, is a popular home base for Yellowstone adventures, including wildlife viewing in the Lamar Valley and beyond.
