Although I am biased....the location is one of the best neighbourhoods in Adelaide with beautiful new and old architecture....5 minutes walk from excellent variety of shopping, good food, coffee, wine, desserts and even a classic Art Deco Cinema that is operational. You can take the Tram to the City, Beach or entertainment centre or walk to the city of Adelaide within 30 mins.
Repeat renters at this property and is our home on visits to family in Adelaide. Great location, restaurants, coffee, bakery, public transport, and everything you need in a unit to be at home.

Thanks Gaye for your review and your stay. The laneway is rear access laneway for a number of homes in the area and also to the apartment's car park. The car park allocated is an extra large spot and leads to the apartment and we have had many guests with the larger vehicles e.g. utes/4WD/SUVs park there regularly. My cleaner has a large 4WD also. For those not comfortable driving in the laneway there is plenty of free offstreet car parks too.
Awesome, clean great location and the beds were comfortable - comfortable beds make all the difference.

Perfect apartment - even more perfect location!
We had a wonderful stay here and Kris could not have been more helpful! Everything we needed was ready and waiting and the location was brilliant. Lots of buzzy life in King William Street but just a short walk and quiet in the actual apartment - lovely!

Great location, comfortable and clean. Basic items like milk, cereal, tea and coffee etc were gratefully supplied.
The key access was a little difficult to use.
Located just 4 km from Adelaide's CBD and a short walk to public transport and many restaurants and fast food outlets, this well appointed apartment ticks all boxes. The cosy two bedroom apartment is spotless, private and in a quiet location and Kris the owner is a great communicator, easy check in and has thought of everything to make your stay so pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommend this property for your Adelaide stay.
The property was large enough for our needs. We out riding and following the TDU, so location was excellent.
Security was good and had everything we required.
From a personal perfective a small BBQ would have been handy, but not a necessity.
Really enjoyed our stay at this property in millswood. The place was clean and just lovely, with private outdoor spaces too. Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants/cafes, and also to the bus stop which takes you straight to the city. 15 minute walk to main shopping centre in Unley which has Woolworths etc (all the basics you’d need). 10-15 min walk to the tram stop that takes you to Glenelg beach as well. The host Kris was great in providing an easy check in and check out process, and was always available to answer any questions we messaged with. I would highly recommend this property and the location it’s in for anyone wanting to visit Adelaide.
The property is within a block of 6 units It is the bottom rear unit. Access via carpark at the rear. Easy access. Close to restaurants, transport to city, or drive with the SA drivers.

Great location but property is getting 'a bit past it's used by date'
I have never used this service before and usually stay at 4 (not 5) star hotels. If I had traveled with my wife I would have stayed at an hotel. However I traveled with a business partner and only used the space to put our head down for the night. We liked the fact that we could just walk down the road and get a coffee and breakfast. We even walked into the city to pick up our hire car the first day. Great location!

Not sure how to respond really, except factually. I hope and expect that when someone books my place that they will look at the photos (which are accurate and recent), will read my great reviews from verified guests and even look up the area on google maps to verify that the location is as I have described. The apartment block is part of a small group of 6, which have all recently been painted and had an external facelift. Built in 1968, it is an ArtDeco building, which given the area is not really that old. My apartment has a bathroom and kitchen which are only a few years old. Floors also replaced, has air-conditioning, overhead fans as well as modern conveniences, private fenced off courtyards and two car parking spots. If potential guests don’t like the photos, the reviews or the location then I prefer that they book elsewhere. When you book homestays like this (not an impersonal Hotel) you are dealing with a “real” person who runs a family business and these reviews do cause angst as we try to do the best for our guests and really only want people to stay who like what they see and read.. Not sure you actually stayed here or you booked for someone else?
The process was seamless, Kris was in contact for the whole of the rental period. Kris has set up the unit well with kitchen essentials and some breakfast items.
Close to shops (bakery, pub, restaurants) and easy access to public transport. Not glamorous on the outside, but lovely on the inside with access to all the things you need in Adelaide.

Perfect for the two of us for a few days in Adelaide. Ground floor so no stairs. In a great position that is not far from the city and close to a great range of shopping and eateries. Parking was within easy access as well.
