Lovely stay among the palms and fnq vegetation, 5 mins to 4 mile beach and 2 mins to cafes , very comfortable bed , like staying in a mini Queenslander good balcony over looking pool and garden.

Great space and layout for two people, clean, neat, good decor and accessories, comfortable bed, great location. Good instructions from the owners but not easy to find when arriving after the office had closed.

Location location location

We returned to this accommodation after 8 years and were not disappointed it’s perfectly located so you only need transport if exploring the surrounding places of interest. The owners were amazing and very accommodating, we had an early check in and late check out, very relaxing and great amenities. This will be our go to place to stay when we return to Port Douglas.

Couldn’t be any happier.

Wonderful 3 nights in Peter’s apartment in Hibiscus Gardens. Not only was apartment in the perfect location, all the amenities and little inclusions in the room were above and beyond what we expected, right down to the shopping bags and spare batteries. Room very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well equipped, quiet complex, and lovely pool facilities.

Ideal location within minutes to town and beautiful resort feel. Handy to have umbrellas as it was rainy season and also resort staff available when needed to book taxis/transfers etc. Excellent communication with owners. Would stay again. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful time in Port Douglas. The apartment at Zen Hibiscus is great, loved having the kitchenette, pools are lovely easy walking distance to beach and shops. Peter was very helpful & we had everything we needed. Thankyou - we hope to return

We had a lovely & relaxing time at Zen Hibiscus. The apartment very comfortable & had everything you needed. We found Peter to be very easy to liaise with & found him very responsive when we had a query. Highly recommend a stay here as ideally positioned a easy 5 minute stroll to the Main Street marina & the beach.

Well located apt with all amenities and high standard of cleanliness

We stayed for 3 nights at Zen at Hibiscus Gardens resort, which is perfectly located for the main Macrossan street and all restaurants, shops, and amenities of Port Douglas, less than a 5 minute stroll away. The apt is ideal for 2 people and was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and very well equipped. The owners were very accommodating allowing us to enter slightly earlier than check in time and also leave slightly later then check out time. There was tea and coffee sachets for us to use, although a carton of milk would also have been very welcome, the owners had supplied cool water in the fridge. The apts at the small resort are very close together and have a Balinese inspired look with lovely tropical plants all around. It is not a big resort and some apartments were rented directly through the hotel while ours was rented directly through the owner. There was a young lady on reception desk for two days running who, unfortunately was not particularly helpful, or friendly, as we had thought there was a cafe on site for use to all guests, however, she said it was hotel guests only - although that was after we had to extract the information out of her while she was seemingly distracted with her computer and barely looked up. Not exactly a friendly face. There was another lady on our first day of arrival who was much nicer. We were at Port Douglas to attend a wedding at St Mary's Church and we found Hibiscus was only a short drive away from the church and could have even been a comfortable walk had it not been too warm that particular day. Peter and Keiko the owners are very helpful and we would recommend anyone interested to contact them directly.

Excellent quality and location

A high quality apartment with a perfect location in Port Douglas. Everything is within walking distance. A nice little communal pool to cool off in as well. Peter was very pleasant and helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

WHAT A GEM !

This gorgeous Balinese style apartment is just so relaxing. It's beautifully furnished and equipped . Just a short stroll to the beach and central to Macrossan Street restaurants and shops. Wonderful atmosphere with lush gardens and 2 lovely pools . We will definitely be returning. Thank you Linda & Barry for making our stay so enjoyable

Fantastic

Absolutely loved our stay in this lovely Balinese inspired resort. The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and beyond our expectations, we did not want to leave "such a great location" The pools were great even on the cooler days we could swim as they were heated slightly for comfort. Thanks so much to Linda & Barry for being the perfect hosts, we will be back!!
