Christine‘s house was the perfect base for us for a week in Darwin, after having spent six months in a caravan. We loved the pool, and the layout of the house suited us well. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics for cooking, and the house had all of the amenities that we needed. Christine was really responsive to us and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were very hospitable and very responsive to our needs. Lots of treats were left for us to enjoy and the kitchen was well equipped , even spices were supplied! The property made it easy to get around Darwin.

True Blue Home in Nakara was perfect for our 6 nights in Darwin. Given we were from Victoria the air conditioning and fans were well used as was the pool. Little extras in the fridge and cupboard, large beach towels and fun outside lighting just added to our experience. Thanks for your hospitality Chris and prompt responses to our queries. We would recommend this property to families, travellers and groups of friends :)

First time visiting Darwin

The house is clean and each of the bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. A bonus is the pool surrounded by beautiful greenery that acts as a shade from the sun. The house is in a great location, mot far from the airport, Darwin, Parap, Mindil Beach and so much more. Chris was a great host. We didn’t need to contact her at all during our stay. The house contained all the essentials including plenty of toilet paper, laundry powder and some tasty treats left in the fridge. Thank you Chris!

Perfect place for a group of friends

Loved the house, all three rooms had comfy beds, the pool was a nice touch, as well as loads of space for entertaining. Would definitely recommend for a group of friends or a family.

Good value for a longer stay

We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The pool was a good size and well kept. Great to have the outdoor shower. Dripstone Cliffs were about 1km away for a lovely morning walk and Casuarina Shopping Centre was 2 min. away by car for any shopping needs. The house is functional and well maintained. Minor issues with the kitchen tap and bathroom basin. All of the appliances worked well.

Great place!

The house was perfect for our stay. It fitted us all perfectly (4 adults and 4 children) and was in a great location. Has everything you need and the kids loved the pool!

Not as good as the photos

Not as good as the photos. Pool was green with algae when we arrived so no swimming for 2 days. Pump replaced so no swimming then either. Get saturated between carport and house when raining as no guttering.House roof leaks, only discovered when my husband crashed to the floor after unknowingly stepped in a poolbof water in lounge room. Location was ideal for what we needed but completely underwhelmed and overpriced

Darwin holiday.

Great place to stay for however long you have !! Facilities great, showers great, beds comfy, big lounge and TV, fabulous pool etc etc etc. Perfect. Could not fault it actually. And would have stayed longer if we had had the time. Thanks very much from all of the McDonalds 😊

Bloody awesome house

Such a good house and what an awesome stay, everything that it looks like in the photos and more, Christine was the best host I’ve ever had at a holiday home and went above and beyond to prepare the house for an awesome stay, pool was wicked and the house was too, comfy beds, great location and just a bloody good house overall, thanks again will definitely be top of the list if we ever need a house again!
