If you love the beauty of nature and a peaceful surrounding this is the place to be!! Sitting on the porch watching the deer, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and an enormous variety of wild birds is wonderful beyond words!The hosts are magnificent. And by the way Utopia is a great town, Garner State Park and Lost Maples are very close and there is great golf! On Saturday eating a deluxe meal at The Laurel Tree is unforgettable!

This Hill country cabin was phenomenal. The views were amazing, the stargazing and birdwatching were over the top. The cabin had everything that we needed, and it was super clean. And there was a nice added touch, homemade cranberry pecan bread. We are already thinking about when we can go back.

Our experience at the cabin was great! Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. Our host, Kathleen, was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is very cute, and the location is so private and quiet -- it's just what we wanted. We will be back!

We absolutely loved it here! Enjoyed watching the deer and birds eat breakfast, the sheer darkness of the great outdoors and nature! Close enough to garner state park and lost maples that we did both on our short stay! The boys loved exploring outdoors and we can’t wait to come back!

Kat’s Kabin was a great place to watch the Geminid meteor shower. The dark skies are wonderful. It was so quiet. We could hear the owls & coyotes at night. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We can’t wait to come back.

Very peaceful and relaxing weekwnd!

It was so nice to get out of town and our busy work life for the extended weekend stay! Loved all the pretty birds and wildlife we saw. Cabin was absolutely perfect and cozy! We would love to come stay again!

Our host, Kat and her husband, Butch were wonderful! Kat was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabin was wonderful - very clean and a great place to relax, see wildlife from the porches, and look at the beautiful starry nights. Can’t recommend Kat and her cabin high enough - definitely a 10 out of 10!!

It was perfect, The cabin was beautiful. we saw lots of hummingbirds, beautiful birds, wild turkeys , deer, and bunny rabbits! The back deck was so nice to sit and relax! We wil definitely be coming back in the future!

Quiet and relaxing ranch with great views.

Had a great stay really enjoyed having coffee on the front porch watching the sun come up with the birds, squirrels and rabbits all going about there morning routine.

what a delightful cabin. Charming and comfortable decor. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating of some last minute issues on our part. A perfect get away with so many amenities nearby. The Laurel Tree restaurant? Lost Maples State Park, and more. The scent of the breeze blowing through the beds of Rosemary surrounding the cabin are reason enough to visit all alone.
