Situated only a short walk to the park, this neat and tidy 3 bedroom home is perfect for holiday living and just down the road from the Phillip Island Racing Circuit. Featuring a spacious open plan, light bright kitchen, bathroom, 2 toilets, a large entertainment deck and gazebo - a great area for those summer BBQs and entertaining family and friends. With an outdoor shower, landscaped gardens all on a fully fenced allotment. The property also has Internet and Netflix

House was in the perfect location for us, close to Smiths Beach and Cowes, 30 second walk to a playground. House was comfortable and clean, the backyard was great for evening BBQs and for your dog. The whole family had a wonderful stay.

Of all the homes we have stayed in, this is by far the best. So many times during our stay we mentioned dreaming of living in this home! Very clean and spacious. Lovely outdoor area. Can’t wait to stay again!!

Lovely relaxing place to stay perfect for our dog who loved the outdoor deck. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of reminders about our stay. Bunk room was very hot in the warmer weather.

Extrmely comfortable and quiet

The house had everything we needed, it was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet and friendly.The patio and gazebo was a great area to relax and chat, and the area was well fenced for our dogs.Recommend this house highly for a great getaway holiday

Excellent location and neat property

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was presented in a neat manner. Location is very good to main tourist attractions in Philip Island. The house has a beach theme which makes your stay n holiday even more enjoyable. Recommend it highly.

Surfing Seagull for MotoGP

We had a lovely time at the Surfing Seagull. The house was perfect. With ample space for adults and teenagers. We were impressed with the cleanliness and overall presentation. Very convenient to the GP circuit and Cowes for shopping. 5 stars.

Sunset Strip holiday

The house and back yard were the perfect size for 2 adults, 3 children and a dog. Well stocked pantry and all the utensils you need. 2 bathrooms were great except for leaking hot water service so only had luke warm water for showering. As long as hot water service is replaced we would stay here again.

Great location

The location is amazing. The house is perfect for a family stay. New bathrooms. Amazing backyard, great for a furry friend. What could have made it even better - a cleaner kitchen, drawers were dirty, bowls were all plastic, cups were dirty, had to wash all dishes before use, not paying extra for sheets which we had to pick from the realestate agent in Cowes. Also, keys had to picked from and returned to Cowes and as well as the dirty sheets :-( was a major pain especially when it’s a little 10-12min drive in the opposite direction.

Cute and clean

Lovely property. The bathrooms were renovated and the house was comfortable and clean. The doors were all quite hard to unlock so could do with a new lock. There were pillows and doonas on all beds and it was helpful there was hand wash and a roll of toilet paper in each toilet. Quiet neighbourhood which we liked.

No towels or toiletries provided No bed linen or doonas provided in winters Heating was mentioned and there was only one split unit in main hall only No toilet rolls provided There was cleaning charge extra over and above the rent but the instructions in welcome letter mentioned clearly that I would need to mop and clean the property. We do leave the rental property after clearing up and not leaving any mess behind but when you are paying extra just for cleaning on top of rent you don’t expect to mop clean the rental. Not recommended for weekend get away because too much responsibility and less to relax

Rest and relax at the Surfing Seagull

A coastal holiday home that had all we needed for a great holiday. Beds were comfy, ample room on the big couch, kitchen stocked with utensils and a great deck with sun loungers and an outdoor setting. The modern primary en-suite with a generous sized bath was great! Our dog loved the enclosed backyard but I would worry if we had a small dog or one that was a jumper as the side gate was lower and made of wire - a small dog could potentially fit through. Upon entering everything looked tidy and you couldn’t even spot a dog hair but my son started sneezing. A deep clean is definitely needed. I vacuumed a lot of dust behind the bunk bed, wiped dirt/dust from the bunk room window sill and also dust from the main bedroom window sills. The bbq was half heartedly cleaned and the cover hadn’t been put back on the outdoor table and chairs so they needed a good wipe down. Window blinds also need to be wiped down and dusted. We loved the location (5 min from Smiths Beach) and it was a quiet neighborhood with a reserve nearby.

Our stay in this house was fantastic, we have been renting houses on Philip Island for 14 years and this was one of the best. So close to Smiths Beach - kids & dogs loved it. Would definitely rent again.

Property was such a surprise when we first walked in. Clearly a renovation had been done after photos had been taken for the listing and it was lovely. Everything better than expected and house was in a quiet area - perfect.

Fantastic weekend away

Thank you so much for an absolutely fantastic holiday house to get away for the wkd. The place totally exceeded our expectations with the beautifully renovated and spacious inside along with the gorgeous outdoor area. Being able to bring our fur babies just made it the perfect holiday for our family. So close to Smiths Beach and only a short drive into Cowes. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a relaxing fun filled holiday on the Island. We will definitely be back!

disappointing

Initially all looked good. Had no internet coverage for complete stay, therefore no Netflix ('apparently' the Island has issues during holiday time). Felt that they shouldn't advertise something that you can't get! Dirty dishes in the cupboard (covered in food scraps), wrappers under the bunk beds, dead flies behind the TV in master Bedroom. No complimentary items such as milk.

Wonderful beach house!

We had a group of two families (with small kids) stay at this property and it was fantastic, had everything we needed and the backyard/entertaining space was excellent. Would definitely stay again!
