I absolutely loved my time at ‘The Apartment on Mica’ Peter and Debbie were exceptional hosts, who went above and beyond in every way possible to ensure we had a fantastic trip.
Within moments of meeting Peter we felt as though we were a part of the family, and am looking forward to staying again, on my next trip to Broken Hill.
10/10 recommended staying here, you won’t be disappointed, a little slice of luxury so close to town.
The booking process was quick and easy and the accommodation was very comfortable and private. The air-conditioner was nice and cold in the 40'C heat and it was lovely having freshly ironed sheets on my bed. I enjoyed my stay at Peter and Deb's place and would love to stay there when I next go back to Broken Hill.

Deb and Peter are Great Hosts, very welcoming and we had great chats with them. Communication is excellent and the room is spotlessly clean and homely. We enjoyed the outside garden area which is very private. The City centre is within walking distance to pubs, restaurants and there is a Foodland nearby. We will be staying there on our visits to Broken Hill.
What a little gem this find was. The hosts are friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was very clean and even though a studio size area there was a microwave,kettle and toaster. The pictures are true to size and accommodate two people easily. Fabulous bed and plenty of hot water. We did walk to the main Street which was about a 10 min walk before getting our hire car. Definitely stay here again.

The “Apartment on Mica” was wonderful. Our host Peter picked us up from the train station (took us back too at the end of our stay), gave us a quick tour of the town, then took us to the apartment which is completely separate from the main residence.
The apartment itself was very comfortable, and a welcome pack of cereal, snacks and chocolates was much appreciated. We stayed for 8 nights, the linen and towels were changed halfway through, and the snacks, etc. replenished.
It is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Broken Hill and the Foodland Supermarket is even closer.

If you are operating a B & B you should invest in a good quality mattress. The bed in this property consisted of two mattresses
The top one was a lumpy foam mattress which was uncomfortable. The sheets did not fit properly and the bottom fitted sheet continuously pulled away from the mattress.
There was no tissues, paper towel or tea towel supplied.
Overall positive. The small courtyard was beautiful and the shower superb. Better food prep/washing facilities would have been appreciated. Hosts friendly and supportive

This property is perfectly located five minutes walk from the town centre. You can hear the post office tower chimes. All venues are withing easy walking distance. Off street parking with your own remote opening gate and private car space for your convenience.
What makes this property unique
The flat has reverse cycle heating and cooling with a microwave and fridge. Ideally suited for a couple with your own privacy. The large screen TV has Netflix and Foxtel. Out front is a secluded area with a garden and outdoor furniture. You want to get away from the hum drum of life, it's for you.
