We had a great stay! The villa was set up nice, pool area was very quiet & relaxing and property was conveniently located in town. Will definitely be staying here again.

Peaceful, clean and convenient location. The pool was crystal clear and the unit was very clean. I was happy to find tongs for grilling amd KcupsAmanda was friendly and picked up charcoal for the grill since they were out. Just know that it's charcoal not propane so plan the extra time for grilling.It was a bit longer walk to the beach than I expected but a 3 min drive so easily solved. We are already planning another trip same time, same place, next year.

Loved Our Stay — Will Definitely Be Back!

Stayed in Villa 7 for Sandfest and it was perfect! Super clean, spacious, and the oversized king bed was amazing. Quiet, quaint property with a beautiful patio overlooking the pool. Location right off 11th Street made everything easy. Also recommend renting a beach cart from Sage — quick delivery and pickup. Great trip, great spot — highly recommend!

Weekend Getaway

Villa 7 at Shadow Palm was perfect for our weekend getaway! The location is SUPER convenient, the Shadow Palm community is so quaint and lovely, villa 7 is comfortable and a great beach house, and the host is responsive and very accommodating! Looking forward to renting this jewel again!

Cute villas close to the beach

The villa was well appointed with a nice size bedroom with a king size bed ( very comfy), good kitchen and nice size living room. It was about 1/2 mile to gain access to the beach. The pool area was nice, but the water was not heated so didn’t really use it. Laundry was shared and was easy to access.

Good, solid contender

We’ve stayed at many places over the years in Port Aransas, nearly all of them excellent or close to it. A few dogs. This was a good location, nice facility, great host, and reasonable price. I love all the big, mature palms and the great pool. Laundry facilities on-site (free, not coin-op) is a nice plus. Good to see an ice maker in the fridge vs sad ice cube trays.

Perfection.....

This is the best place in Port A to stay with your family and fur babies. If like having privacy and ability to have dinner, beach,swim and shop and not feel guilty about leaving your fur baby back at your Villa, this is the place to stay. If you are a party animal and want to throw a big party stay at a multistory condo. Shadow Palm's saltwater pool is a refreshing way to start or end your day. I plan to return soon. Bonus: the owners are awesome! Hint: if you make smoothies pack your blender. I make them every morning for my daughter so she can take meds and I was sure to pack mine. So if you are wanting to make frozen margaritas pack your blender to be on the safe side.

Couple’s Getaway w/ dogs

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to take our dogs to the beach. Loved how dog friendly this property is and it’s such an easy drive to the beach, restaurants, etc. We didn’t take the opportunity to use the awesome outdoor grill area but definitely will next time. Can’t wait to go back!

Good cottage for short stay at beach

We stayed here for just two nights as a family of 3 and it's a good, solid condo to stay in. The location is great - you just go down the street to get to the beach. This condo is right beside the pool area and you park at the front of the complex. We liked the overall decoration in the home as bright and beachy but it lacks a few things for just overall comfort that would make it a 5 star. A few suggestions: add some throw rugs for comfort. Some hooks added by the front door would be great so you don't need to put everything on the floor or counter. The bathroom defintiely needs a bigger mat as that floor gets pretty slick with the humidity of the shower, even with the window open. There needs to be extra sheets and pillow cases for the couch. The kitchen needs a good inventory - no matching containers/lids to store food. No scissors, paper, pen, some worn out items. We had issues with the TV - the streaming service cut out frequently while trying to watch movies which may just be a bandwidth issue. Overall it was fine for us to stay a short weekend but a few items just need to get addressed in the kitchen and with the TV and linens. A few quick adjustments would make it a much more comfortable stay.

Peaceful, well-appointed, dog-friendly spit

Convenient spot on Eleventh St. We selected this place to be able to bring our two well-behaved dogs and have easy access to the lovely Port A beach. The complex was well-maintained, unit stocked with essentials.

The complex is cute omce you get inside where the pool is. Our unit was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials. Community laundry was handy. Nice place for a short beach trip.

Great stay on our Southern road trip

We enjoyed staying at this house - very close for walks on the beach, bike riding and swimming at the community pool. The place is well set up, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

Great location and community

2 min to the beach via car was super convenient for us to watch sunsets and sunrises. The layout is roomy for my wife and me and out little pup. This community of stand alone villas has a neighborhood feel with several friendly returning "snow birds" that stay for the winter season. Our 2nd stay here!

Well appointed place, nicely decorated, comfortable bed, everything we needed and cozy. Walk to beach, fantastic for long walks. Supurb restaurants nearby. Couldn't have asked for any more. Certainly will return.

Shadow Palm really does reflect what my family likes in a vacation home...you have privacy. Each villa is a stand-alone home. Only Shadow Palm guests can use or even see the pool area. Each villa has everything you need for cooking, socializing and having fun. The grounds are beautiful and you can hear the ocean. So weather your vacation group just includes your immediate family or several families in multiply villas, there is enough room and space to relax and enjoy the breeze.
