Welcome to Moore Fun House, an island-style cottage that features a private outdoor furnished patio, outdoor shower and access to two community saltwater pools. This property is located in Pirate’s Bay Resort, a cute and colorful complex with a great outdoor area for picnics, barbecuing and poolside lounging. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom beach house sleeps nine guests and features high-end décor, vaulted ceilings and unique architectural details.

The open floor plan is welcoming and sure to make you feel relaxed as soon as you step inside Moore Fun House. The living room has modern and comfortable furnishings, perfect for snuggling up for a movie night on the flat-screen TV. The kitchen is well-appointed and fully-equipped to prepare gourmet meals. Enjoy them together in the dining room or at the breakfast bar. Spend time together on the covered patio with cool a cool drink in your hands!

The primary bedroom is comfortable with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and dual vanities. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has a full-size bed and twin-size bed. The second bathroom has a large garden tub. The living room and all three bedrooms have flat-screen TVs with Dish Network. You can spend your days sunning on the nearby beach or pools and your evenings lounging on the beautifully furnished patio underneath two ceiling fans. Feel free to pack light, as there is a laundry room on site! There are two parking spaces and boat parking. We are also pet friendly up to 25 pounds!

Overall is was great. My sister did complain that her bed the full size I the room with the twin was all springs. That mattress should probably be replaced. I felt it and it was surprised by how springing the mattress was

The cottage was very enjoyable and lovely! Our family felt comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. When we called for a beeping fire alarm, it was immediately remedied. The kitchen trash can was very dirty with mold growing on the lid. We also thought for a 10 day stay, one roll of toilet paper, one trash bag, one paper towel roll, etc, is just not sufficient.

The pictures were different than the place we stayed. However, the place was equally as big and spacious as the photos. Upon arrival, many of our towels were dirty with stains and hair left on the towels. After informing management, they brought clean towels within an hour. The hot water in the sink and some showers took a while to become warm. The TV in the pink room was not functional. They did provide dishwasher soap, dish soap and a sponge. They also provided shampoo, conditioner and other bathroom things. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! If we stayed longer we probably would have mentioned some of the things stated above. The place was exactly what we needed for our trip!

great property, not so great Maintenace man

The house is beautiful, just like the pictures! Very spacious and in a great location. The pool access was awesome, everyone who stayed in the connecting properties was respectful and we did not have any noise issues. Our only issue was the hot water in one end of the house. We contacted the property managers, who were very quick to reply and they sent out a Maintenace man. He did not call us before arriving as we requested so that we could be present (we were across the highway at the beach less than 2 miles from the property) - we asked to be present for 2 reasons, we wanted to see what he did to check it (to make sure it was fixed) and we had a dog on the property and didn't want that to deter him from repairing the issue. He went without us being there and immediately reported back to the property managers that everything was working fine and for us t0 be patient as it took a few minutes to heat up. We ran two showers the first night and the water never got warm, we tried again after he said it was fixed and it was still ice cold. I contacted the property manager again the next morning and was told they would check into it and never heard back from them. We were not able to use one of the two indoor showers our entire stay with 8 people in the house. Other than this issue we enjoyed our stay! I have already recommended this property to others who are planning a trip!

Enjoyed Our Stay! Would Book Again!

Before booking, I read through all of the reviews of the property on every site I could find, and majority of the reviews were great. My family had a wonderful time after working through a few cons the day we arrived. We got to the cottage around 7:30 pm, and we performed a bed check based off of several reviews that read that the sheets and comforters were dirty upon arrival. Unfortunately, the reviews were right, and the bed linens were obviously dirty with hair, sand, and dirt all on them. So we spent the next four hours washing and drying all of the linens in the cottage. We included the towels as well because they smelled like chlorine. They were also a few roaches in the kitchen, but again, I had read the reviews that mentioned the bugs, so I wasn’t surprised, and we were mindful that it was a summer rental, so a few bugs here and there was to be expected. The following morning, I reached out to property management, and they sent someone to spray for the bugs, as well as made note of the dirty linens. Also, when we had an issue with the code for the pool, I spoke with Cheryl from property management, and she dealt with the issue immediately. The rest of our stay was wonderful. They had all of the pots and pans and cooking utensils I needed. The shower temperature and pressure were amazing. And the beds turned out to be extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed spending time on the patio with the fans above us to help us stay cool. We would book this rental again!

Family Vacation before son leaves to the military!

House size was good for 7 people. 2 pool options were nice, one larger and one smaller. Outdoor shower was very convenient after pool & beach trips. Only issues we had were roaches, dishwasher not working & floors definitely needed to be mopped. We did call maintenance about the dishwasher & roaches, they sent someone quickly & sprayed (which helped) but couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the dishwasher. Not a big deal for us.

Port A thanksgiving vacation.

My wife and I had our 2 grandchildren with us for their Thanksgiving break. We enjoyed our stay the condo was very nice and the pool was nice as well!

Nice place, but with caveats

Nice place.. very convenient to get to. Place is spacious and clean. However, bugs were a bit of an issue.. we had several in the kitchen.. but not too bad . The biggest problem we had were some neighbors staying by the pool. They left their dog run loose, and it nearly attacked ours. In addition, there must have been 15 people staying in the one unit, and they were heavily intoxicated to a point we were going to contact the police. Not sure how the property can monitor this, but it’s certainly a problem. We won’t be back, guess they rent to anyone.. no thanks.

Moore fun house

Overall the house was fine but not the best rental I've stayed at in port a and we go there 3 times a year for many years now. The floors in most areas were clean but not all. Lots of sand in master bedroom. Master bed sheets had hair in them so I rewashed before sleeping on them. No steak knifes, cookie sheets or pan for oven use. Only one hand towel and no rags in kitchen. Master bedroom roku tv was not signed into roku account so not able to use unless you put your personal info in. Would also prefer at least one king bed. Water pressure in small bathroom was almost non-existent. Overall not deal breakers but annoyances. The rental company was really great to work with! They communicated well and responded to everything we needed very quickly.

This place was amazing. It was very clean and spacious. It had nice decor. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool was nice for outdoor cooking. The patio was welcoming for relaxing. Beds were very comfy.

Dirty beds

The property is in a great location. Everything with the property was great until we started getting ready for bed. The beds were dirty! The beds had sand in them and hairs in the sheets. We didn’t have enough sheets and blankets for the pull out bed. Luckily I always pack my own sheet set for the bed I sleep in. We were able to use the sheets for the pull out bed.

PACK your own!

The house was as shown in the photos. It is a short drive to town, bird sanctuaries, and a short drive to the beach. Pool areas are very nice. Kitchen was clean but I found no bakeware other than a couple very rusted cookie sheets, chipped coffee cups, one wine glass, and no dish towels. We rented in the winter and I did not find any blankets for the beds. Also no hangars in the closets. It is a very quiet area and we felt very safe at the house and out walking.

Lovely Vacation Home

We had a lovely time at PB-110 Moore Funhouse!! The property was clean and was perfectly suited for our family vacation! The only thing that I would caution against renting this home is that it is not golf cart accessible and that was kind of a bummer since the cart is half of the fun of the Port A experience! The pools were very clean and well kept the kids on lour trip had a BLAST! Over all this is a great place to stay!
