Superb accommodation

Property was immaculate and perfect location. Owner provided great information and presented the property with quality bedding, linen with great attention to every detail. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home with stunning views over Killiecrankie in the northern part of Flinders Island. The home was very cosy and well insulated against any wind or rain. Easy walk to the beach. Come prepared with your supplies as it's a long drive back to services.Ian was very helpful with clear directions re access as well as providing guides on walks etc in the immediate vicinity.

Perfectly peaceful and picturesque

Finally after years of wanting to go to Flinders Island we made it there for V-Day and my B-day. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to stay. Nautilus 1 was in beautiful Killiecrankie. The one bedroom unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, cosy, spacious and the views of Mt Killiecrankie were breath taking! With the beach a few steps away we enjoyed a perfect relaxing, adventurous and delightful stay at Flinders Island. Didn’t want to leave! Thank you Ian for your helping us get to enjoy this lil island paradise

Gorgeous cottage in stunning location

This superbly comfortable cottage is isolated, quiet, set in natural surroundings with stunning views of the ocean and Killicrankie Peaks. A short walk through bush and you are at the rocky foreshore and the sweeping beach.The facilities are high quality and add to the luxury of your stay in this piece of paradise. Everything needed is provided, although of course, personal items and food you need to bring. A car is essential to get to Nautilus as it is a 40 minute drive from the airport. The host, Ian, is super helpful and offers great detailed guidelines for your stay, even including a power interruption kit if the need arises so you are never inconvenienced. Even suggested local walks are detailed. This is a bush-walkers dream location but I never tired of waking to the views from every room at Nautilus. Highly recommended.

Nautilus 1 is superbly located with breathtaking views, tastefully decorated, well maintained and spotlessly clean.The instructions and background information supplied to us before arrival were excellent. This enabled us to be well prepared and maximise the enjoyment of our stay as the nearest shops are 30 minutes away.Communications were easy and the host very personable. I would highly recommend Nautilus 1 to anyone seeking a quiet, secluded getaway.

Very neat

What a lovely view of the coastline There was a esky with chilling blocks ready to pack your lunch into for the day also ice for drinks. Well done Ian of all the places i have visited none have come up with the esky idea top marks. This was just a beautiful unit just take some food with you from Whitemarck IGA and cook up a storm.or visit all the restaurants. Well done Ian. Lynda & Shayne
