Experience Australia's South Coast from Kiama's most eastern guest house. Positioned on Marsden headland, Kiama Dream offers 270 degree ocean-front views, back-door access to the Kiama Coast Walk and Little Blowhole, and is just 5 minutes from town, Kiama's beaches, harbour and big blowhole. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 living areas, Kiama Dream is perfect for large families.

Upstairs:
Upstairs features a well equipped kitchen, a large living room, dining room, panoramic balcony with ocean-views, bathroom, a twin bedroom and a separate terrace from the master bedroom (with built-in mirrored wardrobes, ensuite, and cot). From the balcony, you can enjoy ocean sunrises and colourful sunsets, and watch whales and dolphins passing below!

Downstairs:
Staying with a large group? Downstairs also features another fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room with plasma television, 3 more bedrooms, bathroom and laundry amenities, and a large outdoor space with sheltered courtyard and BBQ included. Our backyard has a back door for guests to access beaches, Little Blowhole or the Kiama Coast Walk.

For larger groups:
Kiama Dream sleeps 11 guests in beds, but another 4 guests can be accommodated on trundle-style floor mattresses, which can be supplied and fitted with linen upon request, for groups larger than 11. For groups of 11 or less, floor mattresses can be requested for a linen fee of $40 each, at least 8 days before check in. We also cater for families with infants, with a cot (fitted with linen) present in the upstairs master bedroom. However, please note that parties are strictly prohibited, and larger groups must ensure to keep noise levels to a minimum; any complaints of noise or other disruptions, or damages, will result in a charge on your security deposit (up to $1300).

Perfect location

Enormous house. Couldn't be in a better spot on the headland for watching the ocean (hundreds of dolphins) and a 15 minute walk or two minute drive to two wonderful beaches.

Great house in an ideal ocean front position!

This house is fantastic especially for a big group, with two completely separate living areas if needed. I stayed there with ten women for a special birthday. We were all able to have our own comfortable beds which was important for us. We found the house clean, well furnished, amazingly well stocked with tissues, toilet paper, liquid hand soap which we weren't expecting. The kitchen has every cooking implement and appliance you could need. Two very efficient gas heaters for winter and the sun shines into the living area most of the day. The view over the ocean is fabulous - we saw lots of whales!! I would highly recommend this house to any prospective tenants. The owner is very congenial.

The size of the house was great for 8 people. I would prefer if linen was supplied. The tables and windows were dirty. Please supply champagne glasses, there were 2. The BBQ would not start, this needs to be looked at. The coffee machine had not been cleaned for some time. The outdoor furniture needed cleaning. Overall a great spot, just some minor matters to report on.

Nice property, nice location.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice house. Needed some repairs and maintenance. Could have been cleaned better prior to our arrival. Electrical problems. Switches taped over and marked Danger Do Not Use. Stove top not working. Downstairs bedroom not able to be used due to smell of fuel from next door garage. Garbage bins overflowing on our arrival. Inadequate parking as occupants in downstairs flat took 2 parking spaces.

Kiama girls getaway

My 4 friends and I enjoyed our girls getaway at Kiama Dreams but found there were a few issues with the property. Our main concern was with the cleanliness - we felt the property had been neglected and the floors, ceiling fans and stoves needed a good clean. We also felt there should have been a compendium available with instructions on how to operate things such as the TV, dishwasher and induction cooktop (which we found after much frustration) would only work if the correct cookware was used. A window & blind were broken in one bedroom & the light switch did not work and there was no wardrobe or chest of drawers available in bedroom 5 to hang any clothes. However we raised these concerns with the property owner who was very apologetic and kindly offered a refund for our troubles. He thanked us for our feedback which he said was helpful and that maintenance would be carried out soon. Aside from all the negatives, we did enjoy our stay, the spectacular scenery from the large balconies, the spaciousness of the house and the coastal walk access from our back gate.

Our review

Cleanliness in some areas of the property was very poor. The very first bedroom near the entrance was very unclean. The sheets on the bed had black powder like stuff all over it. Not sure where it was coming from but looking around the bedroom we found that fan above had black dirty stuff on it. Couple who used this bedroom were not comfortable sleeping there,they had very poor sleep due to this reason. Kitchen utensils were not very clean,we had to clean all of them before using them. Bed sheets and blanket covers could be better quality. No mirrors in the downstairs bedrooms makes it hard to dress up. The manager Gong Dao of the property promised us 12 pm check in but just one day before he refused and spoke very rudely and screamed at lady guest which disrupted our plans but he was not apologetic, his attitude was he didnā€™t care. Lady guest was stunned with his rude behaviour. Over all not pleasant experience compare to the high price we paid for the property.

Short getaway

Could not fault anything. AAAA++++ Very open and easy communication. House was very clean. Bed comfortable in every room comfortable. View was picturesque. This house was bigger than we expected and is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view and very spacious, oddly furnished

House was in a great location and had plenty of rooms. So much space and many bedrooms and bathrooms for a group of friends in town for a wedding. The living space didnā€™t have enough seating and the beds were incredibly firm. Kitchen had plenty of supplies but could do with a few more bowls. Check in and out was super easy and really clear.

You literally only pay for the view, and it's a great view but... the house really needs a deep clean inside and out, dead cockroach inside the cupboards, dead bugs under the bed, sheets had stains and hair, bathroom wasn't properly clean, floor felt sticky, etc etc. I came worried about the cleaning due to previous reviews and was confirmed cleaner was changed but that was bs. They needs new linen and to upgrade the furniture overall, the living room has 2 small couch barely fits 6 people for a large house... Communication was good before booking then not

Location and room in this house were excellent. Enough room for two families. Great views. Some of the china and glasses were dirty in the cupboard and no champagne glasses. However linen and towels were good.

Awesome ocean views

Pros: The views of the ocean from the house are awesome. It is located right next to the Little Blowhole and a short drive to Kiama blowhole. It is a spacious house with lots of bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked. Good supply of towels. Toiletries like soap and shampoo provided. Kitchen has a pantry with basic items needed. Dishwashing items provided. Has some great beaches located a short drive away, close to Kiama shops and not too far away from Shellharbour and Wollongong for shopping. Cons: Cleanliness of the house could be improved. Was some rubbish leftover from previous people left when we came in- needs to be more attention to detail. Beds are uncomfortable, bed sheets werenā€™t comfortable either. No air con so on the day that it was humid it was still stuffy in the house despite all windows and doors being open and fans turned on. Was nice on the cooler days though. Is an older house with outdated furniture, has an odour in some rooms. Not enough seating in lounge room to cater for amount of people that the house can accomodate. Overall it was a spacious holiday house that provided the basics- definitely paying for the view.

Amazing place to stay. Will be back again.

This property was just what we were after to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean from the huge upstairs lounge room window and the lovely walks along the ocean and having every amenity you need. We will be back with our extended families next time as there is so much room. Gordon was lovely to deal with and easy check in and out.

Disappointed

We were happy with residence & position but the cleaners are not doing a proper job We had a resident rat under kitchen sink who scared the life out of me We were 5 ladies in our 60ā€™s & our mum who is 93. You need to have the pest control people in as we were constantly cleaning up rat poo. Rooms all need a thorough clean Not just a sweep through Beds need to be made correctly with the top sheet tucked in at bottom of bed. I got tangled up as I didnā€™t notice the sheets werenā€™t tucked in until it was too late We would not return. We expected cleanliness for the money we spent One more thing, as the house accommodates 12, perhaps another lounge would not go astray in the main living area

Lovely house

The house is very spacious with excellent uninterrupted ocean views. Plenty of room for our group of 9 people. The kitchen is good, oven works really well and the beds are comfortable.
