Silbato Cottage

Catering para familias y sus mascotas (sujeto a condiciones) casa de tren silbato ofrece una estancia divertida para todos.
Ella es una gran vieja dama con pequeñas peculiaridades aquí y allá.
La propiedad está totalmente vallada. (Por favor, revise la cerca para ver si es lo suficientemente bueno para su hijo o mascota antes de dejarlos afuera por su cuenta).
Mientras disfruta de su voz en silbato casa se oye el silbido siempre tan suave de tren de vapor esmeraldas famoso Billy que sopla ya que hace su camino a través de los Dandenongs a Emerald Lake Park, en su camino hacia la encantadora pequeña ciudad de Gembrook.
Un paseo de 5 minutos te lleva a la estación de Billy que sopla donde podrá abordar el tren a cualquiera Gembrook o Belgrave, tomar parte del famoso paseo por el campo verde y exuberante de helechos, árboles de goma, colinas, praderas y rodando.

Train Whistle cottage se encuentra en una excelente ubicación turística, a media hora en auto, puede visitar los viñedos en el valle de Yarra, los viveros en Monbulk con su mundialmente famoso Festival del Tulipán en septiembre / octubre, caminar por el bosque de Sherbrook con sus enormes árboles de goma. , Lyrebirds etc. Disfrutar de la vista desde la cima del Monte Dandenong sobre la ciudad de Melbourne, y si son aventuras se puede subir los 1000 metros de Ferntree Gully a Sherbrook, visite Cardinia Maldita donde se puede ver canguros, estas son sólo algunas cosas que usted puede disfrutar de las gamas de Dandenong y sus alrededores.

Spacious heritage

My in-laws had a lovely stay in this property. It really is the perfect location. We leave local to the hills and our children (ages 6 and 3) loved visiting. Very pretty and definitely comfortable. This is our second stay with Evelin and we will be back . Lovely extra of a voucher for a local cafe was very much appreciated.

Fantastic mini break

Such a wonderful stay, property was excellent and fulfilled each of our requirements including the fenced yard so we could leave our dog in comfort. Evelin and Rob were fantastic hosts and thoughtfully left a card and cake for my wife, whose birthday we were celebrating. Great location with plenty to do. Would highly recommend.

So puppy friendly & centrally located

Our third time at the cottage and it did not disappoint. Lovely cottage, so clean & cosy. Comfortable beds and very clean. Puppies loved the big backyard too. Walking distance from everything in Emerald. Evelin & Rob are great hosts too. We’ll be back soon.

Great cottage great location!

It was the perfect accomodation for us as a family with two little dogs. Plenty of room for them to play! The lounge area was probably more suited to 5 adults rather than six, but it didn't seem to matter as we spread ourselves out between the lounge and dining areas. The hosts went above and beyond for us re: both checking in and out and in communication and friendliness. We were attending a wedding close to the cottage so location was perfect. Overall we rate 5 stars! The only thing to consider or be aware of is the small step down from dining area into kitchen/bathroom area. Only one step but for our elderly parents we needed to leave lights on. Apart from that everything was great!

Loved it all.

Spotless, older Australian traditional home where the original features have been maintained and improved upon. Excellent bookshelf, TV and internet. It all fitted us likes gloves. Very good location where its an easy walk to good shops and post office. And if like us, you like walking, take your walking gear as there are some wonderful places to explore starting from the house.

A very clean cottage with very close approximately to the shops down the road. The cottage has everything that you could wish for. When we arrived the place was already lit up and the heating was on which was a blessing on a cold and bleak day. Loved the extras that Evelin provided us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.Well worth the stay.

Great weekend away

The cottage was lovely and had all that we needed for a weekend away. the beds were very comfy and the house was cosy. It was very close to coffee shops and other local shops which were lovely to stroll to in the mornings. Would recommend!

A quiet, clean house. Hosts were easy to contact & catered well for the child in our group. Many choices of DVDs, however couldn't get player to work ( didn't really need it). Would return again.

Even better than expexted

Great, friendly hosts with prompt communication and easy check-in process. It’s a beautiful spacious cottage that offers everything you need. The backyard is large and completely fenced and our husky absolutely loved it. The kitchen is kitted with whatever you need to cook. A nice deep bath to relax in! Beautiful scenic walks close by. We’ll be back!

Lovely, spacious cottage away from the suburban grind

We loved our stay at this cottage. The new beds were incredibly comfortable and the dogs loved running around the backyard. Evelin is a wonderful host - and I was so appreciative of being able to move my booking when my mum was sick and unable to catch up. The lactose free milk was a lovely touch and after a long drive the biccies went down a treat. Lovely cafes very close to the cottage. The variety of treats at the bakery was amazing!!

We are a local couple who both grew up in the hills. Rob in Healsville and the Yarra Valley, Evelin in Kallista. We are full of adventure, we love our travels, we like sleeping under the stars, B&Bs, local and overseas travel. We thoroughly enjoy our 7 children between us and our 12 grandchildren. Not to forget or beautiful German Shepherd Gypsy and Little Tinkerbell who we take with us wherever we can, hence our pet friendly holiday rental for you to be able too take your children/ grandchildren and pets. We hope this helps you to enjoy your holiday or break with your loved ones.

We know what it is like to find accommodation for us together with our extended family and our pets, so we decided to provide this opportunity for like-minded people like us. We have provided anything that we could think of to make sure either a couple or family and friends with there 4 legged family would need to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Train Whistle Cottage is a great family/ friends gathering place for guests coming from far and wide to meet up with family and friends. Wedding parties can stay together, there are lots of wedding venues within half hour from the cottage including Gum Gully farm. You can arrive by bus which is a 5 minute walk to the cottage if you want to leave your car at home. Where possible, time permitting (and us not being away ourselves) we can pick you up/drop you off for weddings or puffing Billy.
