Alicia purchased this House in 2010
Why Alicia chose Southeast Boise
SouthEast Boise, to me, is more indicative of what it means to live in Boise than any other are of town. Access to the river and the foothills, the greenbelt, easy access to downtown and the airport…convenience and lifestyle are key! We love the laid back vibe so close to Urban conveniences. Boise is so approachable, friendly, affordable, and offers everything you need: Arts, Culture, Sports, Restaurants, outdoor Recreation… The home itself, has been a complete labor of love, built in 1976, with an extensive remodel meant evoke a peaceful yet modern zen feeling, while keeping the great bones of a full brick 1970s home. It is a relatively open floor plan, single level, large yard. Light and bright throughout. The neighborhood feels mature, beautifully landscaped with trees, parks, and paths, adding the the feeling of the home overall. Outdoor living is key as we can utilize that space 9 months per year! Our home is meant to be beautiful yet approachable and comfortable for groups of most sizes, families, and visitors of all ages!
What makes this House unique
I love the full brick 1970's look and feel of the neighborhood but wanted a more "model home/pottery barn feel". I have been in the new construction industry for 21 years and after a completely personalized remodel, we've got it! It is a beautiful single level home, beautiful high end finishes, attention to detail, immaculate, light and bright, up to date, welcoming and serene. Alarm system, whole home humidifier, invisible screen doors at the double door entry, and so much more.

Our second stay was as nice as our first!
Clean, great location, great response from owner during the entire process. Comfortable with many personal touches and extras. I can highly recommend.
Nice Home, Great Neighborhood
We used this home for a wedding dress shopping trip in Boise. There is a small private park across the street. My oldest daughter wanted to run the next morning and the neighborhood felt safe with older people walking their dogs, children heading to school so I didn't have to worry about her safety. Close to airport, 8 minutes or less. A great property and one of my first to rent from VRBO. My youngest did find her dress too!!!
Couldn’t have asked for anything better
With two grown kids, their spouses and little kids under 4, this was ideal for us. Kids could play in the fenced in backyard plus there was a great little playground directly across the street. Lots of room for the six of us adults to spread out. This all made for a relaxing long weekend while in Boise for a family wedding. Everything was in great shape. It was a very quiet neighborhood yet convenient to most of the Boise area. I would highly recommend this location
I highly recommend this VRBO. Our stay was fantastic! Our party of 7 (myself, my wife, my two daughters, my two granddaughters, and my mother-in-law) were in town to attend Fly Fishers International's Fly Fishing Fair and Fish Fest. The house was very cute, roomy and clean. With the four bedrooms, we had more than enough space for everyone in our party. The beds were very comfortable, with nice sheets and pillows. The backyard was beautiful and spacious, with a nice shaded deck and barbeque. The air-conditioning was wonderful in the August heat. The large kitchen and dining room were perfect for cooking and serving meals to a large group. The house is in a great neighborhood with a beautiful park across the street and a community swimming pool several blocks away that the grandbaby’s loved. The house was conveniently located close to the downtown area and many of the other wonderful outdoor activities that Boise has to offer. Alicia could not have been more accommodating and responded quickly to all our requests. It’s one is one of the best VRBO's we have stayed at and would definitely stay there again.
Great location, great house,
Loved the house. Clean, comfortable and well stocked. Great for folks traveling with kids because there is a park directly across the street and a nice fenced yard. Only suggestion I would have is anchor the tv and stand to the wall since the house is great for kids. thank you!
Perfect! Would stay again! Thank you!
Perfect location. Awesome house. Alicia is awesome to work with!
SouthEast Boise offers something for everyone, conveniently located minutes from downtown, Micron, and Boise State University. The community that our home is located in offers extensive walking paths, ponds, and parks. Playground directly across the street. Walking distance to the extensive greenbelt system and the river. Great hiking and biking trails and abundant wildlife to see! We love to ride bikes for a nice dinner at Bown Crossing, grab some candy at the old fashioned candy store (also in Bown Crossing, used to be called Powell's is now called Cravin's), Bown Crossing is on the greenbelt, we like to hop on it, headed East to see the wildlife there (Owls, Beavers, Deer and more), then bike back home! Table Rock is a beautiful hike, or arrive with a gorgeous view of Boise. Floating the River in the summer is a must for all ages, Epley's raft rentals is in Barber park, the drop in point and can serve all of your needs, and there is a bus from the take out point that brings you back to Barber Park! Saturday Market (Seasonal) big downtown farmers market is a great way to kick off your Saturday morning! Grab a bite to eat downtown and walk around the market. Many festivals in Boise (Art in the Park, Hyde Park Street Festival, and more), Live theatre at the Morrison Center, or Shakespeare festival never disappoint. So many great restaurants. Gorgeous hot springs in Idaho City, pretty drive too! Less than 1/2 hour away! There is so much to see and do appealing to a wide variety of tastes and preferences!
