Walnut Creek Haven - * Cama King * + Cabaña Creekside

Nuestra cabaña 2BR y 1B está ubicada en el bosque de Nantahala, ubicado en el área deseable de Walnut Creek, entre Franklin y Highlands. El centro de Franklin está a solo unas millas de distancia para todas sus necesidades de compras y restaurantes. Walnut Creek Haven está cerca de muchas cascadas, pesca de truchas, caminatas y la minería local de gemas. Ven a un lugar donde hermosos paisajes, caminatas, pesca, historia y hospitalidad sureña son una forma de vida.

Nuestra cabaña ha sido completamente remodelada y cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos y muebles nuevos. Todos viven en un nivel con plano de planta abierto, comer en la cocina y un rincón comedor. Se puede acceder fácilmente a la cabaña, ya que se encuentra en una carretera pavimentada, mantenida por el condado, y está a poca distancia de las hermosas Cataratas de Cullasaja, así como de muchas otras cascadas en el área.
Nos encanta sentarnos en la terraza trasera con vista al arroyo y dejar que el sonido del agua derrita nuestras preocupaciones.

Si te gustan las motocicletas, las carreteras de la zona ofrecen la mayor diversión posible en dos o tres ruedas. Y la cabina tiene un amplio estacionamiento para su remolque de bicicleta.

La cocina está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocina si elige "comer". También hay una parrilla de propano en la terraza y amplios asientos para disfrutar del entorno natural mientras se relaja con una buena comida o una taza de café por la mañana.

What a great location! Close to Franklin and Highlands. Peaceful cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay and just as described in the listing. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights using it as a home base for our visits to the many waterfalls, beautiful drives and our visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We loved the convenience to both grocery stores and restaurants so we could flex as to when and how to eat. We grilled on the deck and cooked in the very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely love to return and recommend Walnut Creek Haven!

Booked this for myself and an employee while working in town. It was great. Nice place after a long day. Peaceful, clean and door dash delivers so we didnt have to get back out. The beds were very comfortable too.

Last-minute Getaway

Work stay

Rented this cabin for different workers to stay while working in Franklin. Nice short drive to work. Extremely clean. Perfect for adults. It does not have bedroom TVs so take something with you if you have to have noise. 100% recommend.

Wonderful Accessible Cabin

Walnut Creek Haven is just that for the active family or seniors looking for easy access to their accommodations. Wonderful wooded setting in the mountains. Spacious parking area. Porch in front and deck with wooded view in back. The interior is well appointed and fully equipped.centrally located to all regional attractions and destinations.

Patty provided everything you could possibly want in a stay. Very comfortable cabin. I would love to live there full time! LOL! Easy to get there and conveniently located to great tourist sites. Would definitely stay there again.

/Relaxing Getaway

This was a lovely perfect cabin to rest and relax from the busyness of life. It's spotlessly clean with all kinds of closet and shelf space and generously stocked with thoughtful amenities. Appliances are new and easy to use including a wonderful washer and dryer for all your dirty hiking clothes. It's definitely cozy and feels like home away from home.,

Wonderful Waterfalls

When we arrived my wife was impressed with how wonderfully clean the place was (she is VERY picky); and how tastefully decorated (I wouldn't know tasteful from a trash dump). Everything we needed was available and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. I would have loved to try the BBQ but we got back from our waterfall adventures too late every night to take the time for that.

Nice Cozy Cabin

We loved our stay in Franklin. The cabin was nicely appointed with special touches all throughout. It was very clean with a back deck that made you feel you were in a treehouse. Very peaceful. We enjoyed our two days of hiking and waterfalls. We especially enjoyed the Rufus Morgan Trail and waterfall as well as Siler Bald via the Appalachian Trail. We also ate at Root + Barrel Kitchen and enjoyed both our entrees. While we were tired each day, returning to the back porch, with the sounds of the running stream and a glass of wine was something to look forward to.

A lovely, well-organized cottage

This cottage has nearly everything you could want in a place to stay. The owner has prepared the house with extreme thoughtfulness (as if she were staying there). There are many creature-comforts supplied throughout the home. Items like placemats, extra napkins, spices, coffee, decaf coffee, sugar, etc., in the kitchen. The laundry room comes with laundry soap (in case you forgot yours). The bathroom had containers with lotions, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap, Q-tips, hairspray, blow dryer, and other personal care supplies. Everything in this house was neat and orderly. There were specifically marked containers in the kitchen and bath, labeled light switches, baskets for housing items in the living room and bathroom. I loved the organization! The new king-sized mattress in the main bedroom was probably one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on when vacationing (that is saying a lot when you live with major back issues!). The only negatives I would have are that the living room furniture that looks amazing, is not the most comfortable for people like me who have a difficult time getting up from a lower position. Both my husband and I found it hard to be comfortable on the 2 couches and the overstuffed chair. I also had to go out and buy a one-step step stool to get up into the king-sized bed. I am only about 5' 3" and my buttocks would just barely make it up to the edge of the mattress. The added step from the stool was helpful.

Fantastic cabin

This cabin was just perfect for us. We did a little getaway between Christmas and New Years and this cabin was everything we needed. You will not find a cleaner cabin. It also had everything you could need, the owners went above and beyond making sure the cabin had everything available to make your stay feel like home. Listening to the creek below while drinking my morning coffee on the deck was just an an added bonus. It was closely located to everything we wanted to do: chasing waterfalls, mountain hikes, craft stores, and antiques. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling near the area.

Everything you need

The owners have thought of everything you might need. A lot of thought went into each item chosen from glasses to bedding. Memory foam mattress and soft quilts were a comfort. Everything felt upgraded from the usual.

Great place

Great place for getaway. Patty was very easy to communicate with . Cabin was clean, updated, comfortable, cozy with beautiful fireplace . Tha kitchen well stocked including coffee , tea , sugar , spices etc. The out door space with the porch at front and deck on the back . Creek on the back of the cabin , fire pit Cabin is easy to access , the road is paved the entire way . Close to shopping and beautiful small towns as well as waterfalls. We enjoyed the stay. Big thank you to Patty and her husband to share their beautiful place with us . Highly recommend.

Felt like home away from home

This cabin was perfect. The location was convenient, yet still secluded. The decor inside was extremely charming, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals, which we did every single day. We never ate out once. Patty was very helpful when I reached out. Overall, it was a fantastic trip snd I can’t wait to come back next year.

While looking for a vacation home within a days drive from our home, we came across the town of Franklin and fell in love with it. We were looking for just a small 2 Br cabin that was easily accessible and came across this newly remodeled cabin that was for sale. We instantly fell in love with the photos. After visiting the cabin and sitting on the deck enjoying the peace and quiet and the soothing sound of the small creek, we knew this was the place!
