Le Hideaway est une propriĂ©tĂ© unique de plage isolĂ©e assis sur une falaise rocheuse dans le canton historique de Swansea sur la magnifique cĂŽte est de la Tasmanie. Entendre le clapotis des vagues sur la plage ci-dessous. Être fascinĂ© par la vue Ă  180 ° sur Oyster Bay, pĂ©ninsule de Freycinet et l'Ăźle Schouten. Sentez la brise de la mer. Marcher directement sur le sable oĂč vous avez 9 miles de la plage prĂȘt Ă  explorer. DĂ©tendez-vous, rattraper, profiter.

Swansea est idĂ©alement situĂ© pour devenir votre base pour explorer la cĂŽte de Tasmanie Est. Il est Ă  moins de deux heures Ă  la fois Launceston et Hobart. Il est Ă  45 minutes de route du parc national de Freycinet ou le ferry pour Maria Island National Park. Swansea est bien connu pour le canotage, le kayak et la pĂȘche. A proximitĂ© il y a des possibilitĂ©s de bushwalking, VTT, surf et plongĂ©e sous-marine.

Such a beautiful quiet spot! Lots of space to relax and take in the incredible view. The Hideaway is clean and well maintained with everything provided for the visit.

Fabulous view of Great Oyster Bay from living room and master bedroom. Amazing to wake up to. The house was cosy, clean and great for 2 couples. The fireplace with wood supplied was very much appreciated. Steep walk down to the beach but worth it to do a spot of fishing and walk amongst the rocks.

Great location and house

The house has character and an amazing location. The views are spectacular. It's a short walk/drive into the main street of town with cafes, restaurants, grocery store etc.

Short stay with extended family after completing Three Capes Track

Perfect place for a relaxing stay after completing Three Capes Track. We loved the location and views over the water, the private access to the beach, the set up of the house and views from all areas. Thanks for a wonderful place to enjoy and share with our NZ family.

Great location close to the beach

Beautiful quiet sheltered spot by the sea listening to the ocean with great views and morning sunrise. Fireplace keeps you warm on cold nights. Loved our stay here.

Lovely and relaxing

Lovely property, very clean with fantastic views over Oyster Bay from most of the rooms. Walking distance to town. Open fire was cosy (we visited in June) backed up up by the split system that provided enough warmth. Entry is a bit difficult to find as google sends you around the corner & as others have noted not a property for those with major mobility issues due to steps/steep driveway.

Amazing Location

The property is a wonderful experience! It is quietly secluded and spotless throughout with magnificent views. There is a path to the beach where the surrounding scenery is just beautiful. If you want to relax, unwind this is the place to visit. We loved e everything about The Hideaway!

Cheerful Oceanfront Getaway

Great place to stay, and reasonably priced. All comfortable amenities and spectacular views were as advertised. Very warm and cozy inside, as we watched the ocean crash on the shore outside - on some cold October nights! Easy access to all East and South East coast attractions. Anyone interested in visiting the Freycinet coast should consider this property.

Amazing!

Loved our stay. Simply stunning views and the house has all that you need. Looked like a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. The ocean view is so glorious I could stay there forever! Shops are close by and really nice meals at the local tavern. Hope to return one day.

Happiness At The Hideaway

This is our third stay at The Hideaway...everything about this place is amazing. The location...so close to the beach...incredible panoramic views from the abundance of windows...big fireplace...beautiful linen and cosy beds. Love the Vintage beach shack vibe and simple furnishings. A house to feel comfortable in and relax. Thank you to the host Andrew, for sharing this wonderful house.

Great Beach side location

The Hideaway was just that ! A lovely cottage hidden away from other properties with lovely beach views of a secluded Sandy beach. A great location for exploring Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay. The cottage was more than comfortable for our group of 4 adults. Everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area again.

Perfect Hideaway

We loved our stay at The Hideaway. It’s a bit quirky BUT the view is just wonderful day and night. Concealed beautifully amongst the trees with a path leading down to the beach. The BEST FIREPLACE EVER. Worked like a dream. Kitchen well equipped and not far from the action in Swansea. Lovely beach walks around Great Oyster Bay. Really enjoyed our week at The Hideaway

Wonderful views from interesting retro house

Very comfy beds. New kitchen and bathroom appreciated though kitchen needed a few extra things (ie drinking tumblers). Open fire lovely when the evening temperature dropped.

Beautiful location

We loved our stay here. The location is perfect. The view is stunning. Beds were super comfy and the open fire was lovely on the cooler nights. The check in/check out is easy and communication with Andrew was good. The only minor let down is the bathroom. Not a massive issue tho it's just old but still clean. Thank you Andrew for having us stay in your holiday shack it is a beautiful spot.

Amazing Getaway

This is our second stay at The Hideaway. There's a good reason fo that...it's THE best accomodation in every way. There are mind blowing panoramic views from the abundance of windows in this beautiful vintage house. A minute walk to the beach and with all the charm of a 'shack' though next level comfort. Love everything about this place, they are very lucky owners because I'd live there permanently in a heartbeat! Thank you again for sharing this beautiful space and we look forward to returning.

Hideaway

Peaceful, gorgeous secluded location even though close to town. Very clean and well presented. Beautiful rooms. Wake up every morning to see the sunrise over the beach directly from bed. Kitchen had everything we needed including basic pantry items. Laundry much appreciated. Very short walk to town either on road or via beach. Highly recommended weekend (or longer) get away from the cities.
