Comfortable and tasteful (and clean!)

Although 2 blocks back from the beach there is a park opposite, so there are pockets of ocean view. Lovely front decks to be mesmerised by the changing colours, plus rear patio as well. 2 living areas each with really comfy matching couches, plus a sold 8 seater wooden dining table. Kitchen is well equipped and has sharp knives, and decent pans!! Our shih tzu cross rescue pup was safe in the back garden and loved the 2 small lawn areas. Oh, and all about a 3 minute drive from Victor Harbor. Really enjoyed the break here! Feeling nicely relaxed now! :)

Wonderful stay with fur child

Beautiful property and great secure and safe backyard for our fur child. We had all kinds of weather but this did not impact the amazing ocean views at all! Very thoughtful hosts on all levels - we are grateful for the time we had and will definitely plan to stay again. Thank you so much!

Great stay at Island View

Island View is a great property to spend a relaxing few days, in quiet surroundings. It has a well-equipped kitchen, comfy couches and a large dining table. The front deck is a great asset where you can sit and admire the views. I have recommended to friends, and would definitely stay again.

Property was as per the description, except for missing the fact that sheets and towels were not provided. It is very clearly stated on the website now. A couple of minor maintenance issues.

Amazing place

I stayed with my elderly parents (including one with onset dementia) and adult daughters and it was the perfect place. So close to town and beaches. Amazing lookouts nearby. Everything worked perfectly. The beds were extremely comfortable

Great for a few days by the beach

Good location and house size - easy walk to beach and to shops. Great to have wifi and to take our dog. Kitchen well-equipped, although we had to rewash some things which were not clean. Comfortable sofas - perfect for winter relaxation.

Great Spot

Great house, very confidante and homely in a nice area and only 5 mins away from both Victor Harbor and Pt Elliot. Walking distance to the beach. Backyard was secure for our dog too!

Peaceful Ocean View

Lovely property with ocean view - from a couple of streets away. Quiet area, 5min drive to centre of Victor Harbor where all conveniences can be accommodated. Neat property with good sized rooms throughout. Backyard advertised as enclosed, although small dog could get through gate railings. Good house keeping rules, perhaps a bit lenghty for some. Overall I would definitely stay again.

Excellent, Love this place

People comment about a home away from home....this truly is!!! Can't recommend highly enough. Located perfectly between Victor Harbour and Port Elliot and a short stroll to the beach with a big outdoor area encapsulating views to Granite Island and the water, simply perfect. Fantastic Island View

We had a great stay at Island View. Spacious home with a great yard for the dog as well. Plenty of room for everyone to have their space. Location is great with quick access down to the beach and a playground visible from the front deck if you have younger children. Kitchen well stocked with essentials making it a great place for our 5 night stay. Would definitely book again. Neil was responsive in the lead up to our stay as well. Thank you

Island View - is a great place to stay for any reason!

Island View is a comfortable home in a quiet location with room for six where you can relax and take in the sea views. The fenced backyard space was great for my dog, and she loved lazing around on the lawn; just a shame there is no front fence. The undercover front deck is a lovely spot to sit, as are both inside lounge areas, and the backyard too, with table, chairs and BBQ. The kitchen is very well equipped, and easy to prepare meals in, with a microwave and wall oven. I have recommended the house to friends and family, and would definitely stay again!

Great place to relax with sea views from the front deck, walking and bike track just down the road and children's playground across the road (not noisy though).
Separate living areas for adults and children if required is a bonus.
Plenty of space in the back for the dog.
