Enjoyed staying and the easy beach access. Corner shop close by too. Would have liked the outdoor furniture to already be outside as per photos.

Weekend away

Fabulous place to stay, has a seperate lounge for the kids. TV in that room needs to be hooked up. Other than that it was 9/10. Easy walk to beach 5 min, plenty of kids games to play, outdoor entertaining area and BBQ.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful 4 days at Waihi Beach. Comfortable and has everything you needs. The only recommendation would be maybe have a draw for you to put your food in as there is no pantry. Also on the note given maybe say what days are rubbish days or where you can find this information. We would highly recommend this place to other people. Definitely a great place to stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely holiday home.

Island View Property

Island View stay was everything I imagined! The place was clean and tidy, had a warm welcome feeling about it. The only downfall - need to: 1) update profile pics of neighbours are right next to each other, parking space, also the lock box number is the same to open and close - not too separate numbers lol. Island View catered for my specific needs. Thank you for having me and my Whanau. Highly recommend for a week away! Ngā mihi.

Very nice bach

We have an annual trip with eight women to Waihi Beach every year and stayed at this bach for the first time. It was very clean and tidy and had excellent sleeping arrangements for a large group. Lovely big north facing deck and kitchen had everything needed to cater for ourselves. We will definitely be staying again. Thanks for having us, you have a very lovely bach.

A nice place to stay

We would like to say a big thank you to hosts. Communication, check in and check out was smooth and pleasant. The house surprisingly big inside - enough room to fit 8 adults. The house is almost brand new, clean and not smelly. A lot of houseware, we've found everything we needed during 2 days. Definitely 5/5

Beach stay

Host was helpful. Really nice tidy, well equiped house and excellent kitchen facilities. Clean on arrival. Would recommend this as a base to stay when on a beach holiday.

Early Christmas break

We enjoyed our time at Island View. The house is very spacious, neat and well equipped. Location is central and close enough to all attractions. Being in the midst of a new development, the neighbouring construction works can be a bit noisy.

Great Weekend!!

This property was very lovely, and my birthday weekend was very nice with all my family that I got to catch up with and cousins that I hadn't seen in a while. Area was very peaceful and near beach location, only a five minute walk to the beach! Awesome!

We really love our time spent here at Waihi Beach and have made many happy family memories. Fishing, swimming and walking on the beach are our favourite activities, as well as BBQ's on the deck with friends and family. We'd like to share our small slice of paradise with others and love for them to make precious memories here too!

Discover the charm of Waihi Beach throughout the seasons. The gorgeous white sandy beach stretches for around 10 kilometres, so there's plenty of space for walking, swimming, surfing, fishing or simply relaxing with a book. The harbour offers great fishing and Anzac Bay is a sheltered cove suitable for young families. There are many local cafes and casual dining restaurants to enjoy, or take your fish and chips to the beach. Nearby Athenree boasts hot pools that are open year round and the Karangahake Gorge, with it's breathtakingly beautiful scenery, is well worth exploring by foot, cycle or even on the train. On Saturday and Sunday mornings during the summer there are Farmers Markets bursting with delicious local produce and crafts.

Our beach house has been well set up for two families of four, or large, extended families to be able to enjoy relaxed time together. Being able to share the costs and stay together really makes for a positive experience! The large kitchen is very well equipped to cater for everyone. The outdoor shower is perfect for rinsing off the sand after time spent at the beach. Sit out on the large deck and soak up the sun morning or afternoon. We even have toys and board games available to keep families entertained, regardless of the weather!
