October Vacation
1st the positive. The property was as shown. We found it to be overall comfortable. It had plenty of space for us and even had room for more had we wanted to invite anyone else. The communication with the property managers was excellent. Any time we had an issue with the property, it was addressed and we had maintenance out there. And this is where the positive ends.
Too many issues with the property. On our 2nd night there our door code stopped working. We had to call their emergency after hours number to get back in. And get a completely new door code. Fortunately it worked for the rest of our trip. 2nd, our 2nd day there, we saw that the pool was nearly 6" lower than it had been earlier. Found a huge broken spot at the bottom of the pool that's causing a several hundred gallon per day leak. We notified the management about it & were simply told to run the hose to keep it full. Along with this, the pool was not treated at all, no chlorine, no salt, nothing. By the end of our stay, the pool was turning green with algae. 3rd, the downstairs shower just stopped working one day. No water coming out at all. It got fixed, but it's another issue. 4th, one of the upstairs TVs stopped working as well (this one may be hurricane related, the TV screen went black and wouldn't come back on after briefly losing power). But it took until our last day there to get fixed. Finally, while the resort has a large rec area, they charge a separate fee to use it that we were unaware of.
