Family Trip

The property is unique and centrally located to everything we needed. A short walk to restaurants and a grocery store. Beautiful property and good communication with the owner.

Beautiful historic building in an ideal location! A 5 min walk to stores and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked and the design of the space makes it seem larger than it is. The hosts were amazing! Our family's favorite place we stayed while we were visiting Australia from the USA!

Christmas stay at the Old Church

We all loved our stay over Christmas. The number of stairs didn’t suit my old knees but this was greatly outweighed by the locality, the physical comforts and the uniqueness of the residence.

Fantastic Stay

The property was exactly as listed, great position & very clean, roomy & comfortable. Within easy walking distance of South Bank, CBD & Roma Street Parklands & plenty of restaurants, cafes & bars nearby. It was a great experience being able to stay in a beautifully renovated Heritage Listed Church!

Property is beautiful

Property is beautiful, clean and well equipped. Close to shops and restaurants. The only issue we had was the road noise. Probably as we all live in quiet areas it seemed loud to us.

Charming property in a chic, lively neighborhood

Loved the vibrancy of Caxton Street and The Barracks, walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The area is very hilly and steep, so pack some sensible shoes! The Old Church is quaint and stylish, very comfortable for a family of 3 adults & 2 children. The stairs to the 2nd level are very steep, but once up there, the two bedrooms are gorgeous. The beds are luxurious and so comfortable, best sleep I’ve had in years, seriously!! Kitchen was well stocked with all the basics necessary for a quick meal. Scott, Lisa and Malcolm were extremely friendly and helpful for all our enquiries. Access to the property is only via steep steps, a bit hazardous for my elderly mother, but good hand rails made it possible. All in all we had a marvelous stay.

Dream come true

What an amazing property. Myself and family stayed at the Old Church Brisbane for an event at Suncorp Stadium and it was so easy to walk to, also walk to restaurants and shops and if you have a car the property has a garage so no need to look for parking. We were sad to leave this beautiful house and it was lovely reading the history of the site.

Excellent Properity

Our family & some freinds stay at the Old church for 5 nights to attend my son's wedding. The Old church is a beutiful place. Very clean. Lot of space, Well equiped kitchen. Quality Bed linen & Towels. Scott was very helpful all the way thru. Over the phone or on email correspondance. Special thank you to Scott for all your kind assistance. The best holiday home & we we all enjoyed our stay very well. will definetly stay again.

Great spot for events at Suncorp

My family of 6 adults enjoyed our stay at The Old Church, well equiped kitchen with quality cookware and quality linen provided in the bathrooms. We stayed for an event being held at Suncorp Stadium, perfect spot quick 5 min walk and we were there. Scott was very helpful, replied to my emails very quickly and answered my questions with no problems. Would definitely stay again.
