Pelican Cottage is clean, cosy & well equipped. We found the location was ideal for our needs. Watching sunrise across the lagoon was delightful. There are many different species of birds on the lagoon.

A little piece of Paradise - highly recommended

A very beautiful house to base ourselves for a wonderful holiday on Kangaroo Island Perfect location, ideal for exploring the island. The house is functional and accessible, with a good kitchen.

Peaceful stay on Kangaroo Island

We spent 5 days touring Kangaroo Island. Pelican Lodge provided a home base for cooking meals, beautiful sunrises, plentiful song and marine birds, wallobees in the garden, a quiet place to sleep, dark start-filled skies. The location worked well for us. This is a country cottage but well equipped and solid Wi-fi.

A very serene property.

A very well appointed house with a superb location overlooking the water. So very quiet and the garden was full of birds. Easy drive to a choice ot resturants and to see the sights of KI.

Island serenity

We loved our stay here ! Very relaxing, fabulous views, appreciated the quality bed linen and towels and the property was stocked with everything you need. A great place to unwind and just enjoy nature. We were lucky enough to see dolphins in the lagoon too ! The sunrises were amazing ! Central location too for seeing the island.

Pelican Cottage is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. The view of the lagoon is beautiful and wildlife can be seen in the garden. Would highly recommend.

Excellent property with the best of everything.

Beautiful views, colourful garden, plenty of birds and wallabies, very comfortable and well equipped cottage and short drive to lovely sandy and picturesque beach.

Beautiful cottage. Perfect homebase for exploring island.

Property was perfect in everyway. Wildlife visiting garden during the day and at dusk. Pelicans in the lagoon. Cottage had the best view out onto the lagoon a perfect way to start and end each day. Everything we needed was provided. Stayed 4 nights and it provided an excellent base to explore the main parts of the island. Would love to return and explore more around American River and the West. Beach. bee farm, oysters all wonderful. People warm and friendly, a perfect stay. Thank you.

A lovely house with everything in a peaceful location

This is a lovely well equipped house in a very peaceful setting. Sitting on the front deck watching the lagoon was a great pleasure. It a 10 minute drive from American River and about a half hour from Penneshaw. Bring provisions and enjoy!

Amazing cottage

I had a great time at the Pellican Cottage, everything you’re looking for in a home away from home, beautiful view, great sunsets, the house is cery comfy and equipped with everything you need. I would definitely come back.

Wonderful stay

Just the holiday we were hoping for - peaceful, interesting location in a lovely, comfortable cottage. Not too far from other eastern KI locations of interest. Hope to return sometime soon for a longer stay.

Oh the serenity

Such an amazing location. Sitting on the deck and watching the wildlife was one of my favourite things to do. Really well fitted out kitchen, comfy beds. Great location. Would recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved pelican cottage and the views of pelican lagoon. The property was very homely and clean and had everything we needed. A great location for accessing different spots around the island too. Would love to come back!

Couldn't fault the view!

The view and cottage was as described, and the cottage was cleaned well equiped but I felt outside could have done with a tidy up and a new rotary hoist was well overdue. apart from that we had a good stay and enjoyed our accm and Kangaroo Island very much

The cottage is tastefully renovated with many comforts to make your stay easy and special. You are in the East of the Island where you can visit swimming beaches, restaurants and cafe's, go kayaking on Pelican Lagoon, or bush walking. The West of Kangaroo Island is day trip not to be missed
