The photos of the listing do not do it justice. It was the most incredible home in a breathtaking area. Pulling up to the gate you know you are in for something special. Everything was perfect and we had the most amazing weekend. Return visit a must.

Fantastic location

This is an amazing house in a fantastic location. We caught a glimpse of the fabulous view when we arrived before the storms rolled in, but even then, it was like being amongst the clouds! A great house for a weekend getaway. Will definitely be back!

Excellent accommodation, very well-equipped house

We had a wonderful stay at Escarpment. It is in a beautiful peaceful location yet a quick drive into the gorgeous town of Berry. I've never stayed anywhere with such a well-equipped kitchen! Absolutely perfect for kids with the separate sleeping quarters and games, sports equipment and toys. Very clean and well-kept house.

Peaceful luxury

The photos look good, but they don't do justice to this amazing property. Well stocked with everything you need for a relaxed time away. Incredibly peaceful setting, with beautiful views of the escarpment and the coast. We were even lucky enough to see a wombat making its way through the bush.

Escarpment R&R

We had a wonderful girls weekend away at Escarpment. The views are spectacular and the house and landscaping have been cleverly designed to capitalise on such. Two nights was definitely not enough! All ladies (50+) agreed it was one of our favourite weekend away locations to date. We will definitely return.

The whole property was terrific. We were there with 4 couples and all day very comfortable rooms. There is a similarly comfortable 5th bedroom with 2 singles. Speaking with locals the internet/phone coverage is very poor which adds to the charm. The host Lousie was great. We will definitely be back

Relaxing, peaceful getaway with an amazing view

I visited for 2 nights with friends and a couple of 3 year olds. The home is nice and cozy and a perfect size for a small group, however the outdoors is where you will be spending most of your time. The photos do not do any justice and I guarantee that you will be mesmerized by views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The home is only minutes away from town and is far enough to have a nice peaceful secluded getaway. Louise was always prompt with her responses and we would definitely return in future.

Wonderful Family Getaway in Berry

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Berry. The views from the property were absolutely stunning, with beautiful bush to beach vistas that we all enjoyed taking in. The house itself had everything we needed - it was well-equipped and comfortable for our group ranging in age from 3 to 60 years old. We were able to fully relax and enjoy our time together. The only minor suggestion I would make is to bring your own entertainment options, as the TV is not smart and a bit limited. But with the gorgeous surroundings, we found plenty of other ways to keep ourselves entertained. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for a family vacation. The location and views are unbeatable, and the home has everything you need for a relaxing and memorable stay. We'd love to visit again someday.

Stunning location, wonderful house

We stayed here with 2 families over a long weekend. The house is as beautiful as it looks in the photos and the view is out of this world. The kids loved toasting marshmallows over the fire and all the interesting games in the house. We would love to come back here in warmer weather, to make use of the beautiful outside dining table and bbq!

We stayed here for a siblings trip. The place was exactly as described and shown in the photos. The views are spectacular! It was such a relaxing home to stay in. Highly recommend to stay at this property.

The great escapism!

Thank you Louise, We had a great time staying at the Escarpment. The house was well appointed with visiting guest in mind. A great and serene place to stay and get away from the daily routine of busy city life. Wish we could stay there for longer and definitely would like to come back. The Escarpment has definitely embedded in our memories for an awesome getaway!

Getaway from the hussle and bussle wrapped in the beauty of nature

We simply loved our stay at The Escarpment! The views and outdoor living area were fantastic; from sunrise yoga to campfires and family barbecues! The home had lots of tender loving care - from thorough instructions to surprises and games and a great layout for all age levels in the family (the garage came in handy on the rainy days!). Thanks so much for a highly recommended stay!

Amazing spot!

6 girlfriends and I stayed here for 2 nights, the location was amazing, you cannot beat the view. The house is set up perfectly for a group, super comfy beds and not crowded at all with 2 bathrooms, we also loved that the living area's were segmented. The outdoor setting is just perfect also to enjoy that view. The only enhancement you could add to make this an over the top spot would be a spa or plunge pool, I don't think you would ever leave then! We wished we had longer there!

Stunning home in a beautiful bush setting

This home nestled amongst the trees looking out to views of the sea was lovely. It had a comfortable feel to it and was very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. We loved sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful view.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area on a weekend away with friends. As soon as we found this place we knew it was for us. It is set in a beautiful bush setting and has spectacular views, but also has all the modern conveniences.

Every time we come here we feel so relaxed.

What makes this property unique

Set in the beautiful rainforest with gorgeous views which makes it feel really remote, but only 5 minutes to the town of Berry.
