Please, if you have a few minutes, watch the video. It answers many questions I receive and may provide immediate answers to some of yours. I get many questions about where to find the video. There is a video tab in the upper left corner of the picture window at the top of the page.

This cabin started life as a water wheel powered mill. It has been completely remodeled but it is still just feet away from the creek. The sound of the rushing water is highly relaxing and makes for a tremendous night's sleep.

The master bedroom located on the ground floor has a king-size bed. The second bedroom located on the second floor has a full-size bed and a twin bed. There is also a large loft on the second floor over looking the living room, dining room and kitchen.

This cabin is close to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The Toccoa and Ocoee Rivers are close. The southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail is just six miles away. Helen Georgia is also only a short drive.

The cabin has unlimited WiFi internet access.

Please, no smoking.

Also note, there is a $50 fee added to one night reservations.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

We loved the property- close to the water and a lot of fun for our kids to play in. The interior is well appointed, beds are comfy. It is a long way to town, which is nice!

Wonderful location and setting for a very comfortable cabin...

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is well maintained and perfect for 5 people and 2 dogs. The creek is GORGEOUS and noisy, thoroughly relaxing to sitting, looking and listening. The dogs loved playing in the creek! My nephew and I decided to try for trout---the fish were small, for the most part, but plentiful for the enjoyment of catching some fish. All were returned to the creek to get bigger for someone down stream. The location is basically midpoint between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, very convenient for shopping, eating out or taking advantage of the charming downtown areas of both towns. We will find our way back here for another stay!!

Nice cabin!

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I along with our teenage son enjoyed our stay at this little cabin over our son's spring break earlier this month. We traveled from FL so the weather was a pleasant change from the heat and it was perfect for hiking which is what we enjoy the most about the mountains. The cabin was clean and very comfortable for the three of us. I hadn't realized that it was right off of a main road and that the property was shared with the caretaker, but he happened to be away the week we were there so there were no privacy issues. I had to purchase disinfectant cleaner for the kitchen counters as we cooked a lot and I am very conscious about germs!! I left it for the next guests! Overall a pleasant stay in a nice cabin!

Wonderful creek right outside!

  • 5 of 5

Loved having the flowing creek right outside the cabin. It was so great not having a tv in the living room. Just a fire and my husband and I playing card games. Very relaxing!

THE Place To Relax!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and my 80 year old mother stayed here from Thursday to Sunday and even though it was either overcast or sprinkling most of the time, we throughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the beautiful views of the creek and being able to open the windows and hear the sounds of it. Sitting on the covered porch and reading or talking or just staring at the creek is how we past the time when we were there! It is a well equipped cabin, With plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils; pillows and blankets too. The beds were comfy and having flannel sheets on them in February was very thoughtful! We have stayed at many cabins and the owners just don’t think of these things. Having a full sized washer and dryer was nice as I was able to keep up with the cabins laundry as well as ours. The cabin is decorated so cute with lots of bears and items to remind you that you are in a cabin! The wall of windows facing the creek is a huge plus! It is right off the main road and easy enough to get to but not close to any town. So if you are looking for a cabin that is closer to all the things such as stores and shops, this one is not it. There are NO neighbors either, except the caretakers Home next door. We definitely plan to come back in the summer and bring our grandson so he can play in the creek and fish as well. I saw some huge trout! The only cons we had while there: flood light over the creek did not work (we did not bother the caretaker as he was out of town and we knew we could live without it), we had to buy firewood and it was all wet everywhere so we ended up spending money on fire logs which we dislike; and I was happy I brought extra paper towels because the roll at the cabin was nearly gone and there was none to use. I am always sure to bring things like that, just in case but usually find there is more than enough for a few days. The cabin was clean except for under the couch - which I found out by accident because my dog dropped his ball and it rolled under there (left a note). We left money (more than enough) for the 2 bags of garbage because we had no room to take it.

We went to Blue Ridge one day, shopping and had lunch at Blue Jeans. It was very good and the portions are huge! We also went to Tococca Swinging Bridge, which is not too far from the cabin (13 miles). Thank you so much for sharing your cabin and allowing us to bring our fur Babies!

Cabin was beautiful! Very clean & LOVED it being right at the creek.

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean & the caretakers are extremely nice. It was wonderful being able to listen to the creek by opening the windows....very soothing. We went to get away for a relaxing weekend & we found it!! It was our trip for our 25th Anniversary. but we will be returning to this cabin for sure!! It is halfway between Blue Ridge & Ellijay which is very convenient as well.
