Please, if you have a few minutes, watch the video. It answers many questions I receive and may provide immediate answers to some of yours. I get many questions about where to find the video. There is a video tab in the upper left corner of the picture window at the top of the page.

This cabin started life as a water wheel powered mill. It has been completely remodeled but it is still just feet away from the creek. The sound of the rushing water is highly relaxing and makes for a tremendous night's sleep.

The master bedroom located on the ground floor has a king-size bed. The second bedroom located on the second floor has a full-size bed and a twin bed. There is also a large loft on the second floor over looking the living room, dining room and kitchen.

This cabin is close to Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The Toccoa and Ocoee Rivers are close. The southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail is just six miles away. Helen Georgia is also only a short drive.

The cabin has unlimited WiFi internet access.

Please, no smoking.

Also note, there is a $50 fee added to one night reservations.

Peaceful Creek View from the Cabin Window

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the couch reading a book with the view and sound of a babbling creek just outside the window made the stay perfectly peaceful. The country side views along the drives to and from Ellijay and Blue Ridge were spectacular as well. The fall foliage was still in force. The longer distance from the two towns turned out to be a bonus. The accommodations were clean and well furnished. I would definitely reccommend this cabin.

Anniversary trip

  • 5 of 5

The cabin is so beautiful inside and out! It is located near hiking, waterfalls and not far from the Blue Ridge Express. We enjoyed our time so much at the cabin we ask our self why we went off looking for waterfalls when the creek is so nice.

Weekend Get Away

  • 5 of 5

Spent last weekend in this cabin. There were 4 of us, 2 couples. Cabin is perfect sized, never felt cramped. Beds comfy, really nice fireplace, everything worked, was clean, etc.. The location was quiet and remote yet not too far away. The caretakers cabin is next door, but you would never know they were there. Enjoyed very much.

Peaceful and serene

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very comfortable, well-built and well-appointed. We were able to connect our cell phone through free wi-fi service. We sat and watched the raging little creek for hours through the large windows in the den. Could easily sleep five in comfort. The caretaker Don and his sweet wife were wonderful hosts. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Relaxing Time

  • 5 of 5

Quaint cabin which was well equipped, comfortable and the stream right off the cabin was just exceptional to listen to. ;We had a great time and the owner was also very accommodating when the hurricane effected our original date for our stay - thank you again!

Mountain cool and great sleeping with the creek for company

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent a cool 10 days at the Bailey Creek Cabin. We loved it. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and some much needed 'down time' away from our busy bakery in Houston. We also escaped Hurricane Harvey during our stay. We were blessed to have had the beautiful weather in Blue Ridge and our house and business fared well through the hurricane. Prayers answered in that regard.

I would highly recommend the great cabin on the creek. Don and his wife were great to work with and their sweet dog greeted us each morning. Loved it!
