Pitt vs SMU trip

Great location, easy process, had everything we needed. Perfect location for food, nightlife and close to SMU, we were in to go to a football game. Perfect amount of space and amenities.

Great area

The townhouse was in a perfect area. The only thing I didn’t like about the townhouse was it has 3 sets of stairs so be prepared to walk up a lot of stairs, overall it was a nice looking place to stay at when you come visit Dallas.

Nothing But Spectacular!!

Jamie Property is Luxury at its Best!! Not only is it beautiful on all 4 levels its cin a central location where everything is not to far from their place. She was very accommodating with a late check amd easy to communicate as well. 5 stars!

Good Location in Dallas

Property was clean and communication with owners was excellent. Overall location was good to Dallas Downtown. Only negatives were: a lot of freeway noise, no blinds on the windows on the main floor, and the white walls were VERY dirty.

Beautiful Property

We had a convention and I rented this property for 3 of my employees. They loved the condo and it's close proximity to the Kay Bailey Convention Center.

When you walk in to Jamie place, you feel at home. I literally wanted to move in as soon as I experienced the first day. Their place will be my go to whenever I am in Dallas!!!

Perfect home!!

I had my family and friends on a trip to Dallas for 2 nights! This home is really big and has an amazing rooftop patio with great sunset and night views of downtown Dallas! Communication between the owners was easy and they responded promptly! 10/10 recommend!

Location is great

We were about 5-10 minutes away from everything we wanted to do so Uber fares was always under $15, so grateful for that. Even though they charge you a service/cleaning fee they do want you to take trash to bins and of course towels in front of washer. If you have any dishes put those away. The 3rd bedroom is kinda seperate from the rest of the guest in the house and be prepared for 3 flights of stairs. Overall great experience! I would stay Again.

Couldn't end fast enough

Location convenience to downtown is great but the house is located right next to a major highway. The noise level is off the charts and almost impossible to get any sleep. We had to buy ear plugs after the first night.The unit itself is in dyer need of maintenance. Very run down, it needs paint throughout, several items are broke or not working including the front door, trash enclosure, shower flooring in downstairs bath to name a few.This is not a 3 bedroom. It has two private bedrooms with a loft that does not have a door for privacy.The host was very prompt in communicating.

Not elegant!

I’ll start with a positive…compliments to the host for accommodating our concerns. The furnishings are nothing like the pictures, much lower quality. The bedding is hostel level at best. The walls are beat up and need paint. The industrial size dumpster in the garage stinks, gathers flies and takes up space. So, no two car garage. Our unit didn’t have hot water for the first part of our stay.

Beautiful home in an odd location

The property was impeccable and exactly as seen in photos. The little touches like the basket of towels in each room was great. There was a Keuring but not any creamer or sweeteners. There was nothing in the fridge.. sometimes it is nice to have some bottled waters or basic condiments in the fridge of a rental, especially because we arrived Wednesday night of Thanksgiving weekend. We loved having a tri level home, although the stairs were a bit steep for those who have littler ones. The only quip we had was with the location. It was located right off of the expressway, so you could hear traffic noise 24/7. This bothered my kids at night. Also, while it does say that there is a Starbucks in walking distance, you actually have to walk along a very busy road to get there. It was not an indoor Starbucks, it was a walk-up one, which would have been helpful to know because we had walked there in the rain on Thanksgiving Day. I also did not see any grocery stores or good restaurants that were within actual walking distance (ie less than a mile).

Great Location & Space

My stay overall was good, it was throwing distance from downtown and shopping areas and the overall living space I felt was actually much more than how it was advertised which was a pleasant surprised. I only have a few critiques. 1. The house definitely needs a lot of touchup painting throughout the entire property because it made it feel un-kept. 2. A better process for unlocking the front door, the property is so close to the highway you cant actually hear the timing of when the mechanism is working and not working so I was forced to use the garage entrance the whole time which was a pain due to me have a truck that couldn't actually fit in the garage, so I had to walk from the front of the property around back to gain access. 3. Finally there was no lock between the garage and the main part of the property which made me feel super uncomfortable being so close to downtown and also a few of the interior door locks did not work. But outside of those inconveniences or cosmetics the property has great entertaining space, ample living space and bathrooms and above all great vibe. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting Dallas after those small items are corrected.

Great Stay!

My friends and I had a great stay here. It was perfect for us to all be together to celebrate my 40th birthday. This place is HUGE! Nice, modern open concept. The location was also a plus as we were not far from restaurants, shops, Uptown and Downtown. Only 2 things was the trash compactor in the garage that wouldn’t allow for a second vehicle. However still very convenient to be able dispose of trash and there was still open parking. The other thing was not being able to open the garage from the outside. The communication from Athena was impeccable. Anytime I had questions, she was super responsive. She also gave me a discount when I added an extra stay. I would definitely stay again.

Convenient Location

Property was right in the area for us to do all our work related travel. The property manager couldn’t have been more nice…. I even made a mistake in the reservation, and she immediately fixed it for me without issue. It is close to the freeway, so there’s a lot of traffic noise which would be my only downside to the rental. Otherwise it was a great time in Dallas!

It was good overall but probably wouldn’t stay again

To start off, the house overall was nice and the view of the skyline was perfect which was the main reason I rented this house. The location felt safe but was in an awkward spot off the freeway but not a problem. Generally speaking the house was clean and mostly resembled the pictures however the pictures are taken at a weird angle and then edited to make it look flawless and bigger which isn’t surprising. We did experience a few issues that we think should be fixed for future guests. First the situation with the garage is inconvenient. If you park in the garage, then you have to get in the car from the car and then one person has to stay in the house when you pull out to lock it from the inside and then come out and walk through the front door and around the house. Also, the bathroom in the guest room upstairs has a very loose toilet seat when you sit down and almost caused a bad fall for a couple of the guests. Also, the oven was filthy when we got there and we tried cleaning it to make dinner but it was impossible to remove everything with no cleaning supplies so the leftover burnt food just burnt more and smoked the kitchen up. The living room couch is very worn and dirty and scary to sit on. In the master bathroom there isn’t a door on the shower and a big gap that lets in cold air and overall it’s just uncomfortable plus the towel hook is broken so you can’t keep your towel close by. The master bedroom also needs a new bed frame because the one in there is worn and dirty. Also, the house only had washing detergent instead of real soap to clean your hands, the dishes, and whatever else you may need to clean. There were 2 spray bottles under the sink with cleaning solutions but that’s it. There are more small things but these were the big ones that interrupted our stay. Probably wouldn’t stay again because of the price because the view was the only thing that made it worth it.

Awesomeness

It was a lovely , modern and beautiful home in a very upbeat, vibrant and easily accessible part of Dallas. No matter the time I felt safe and at home. The neighbors were friendly and the hostesses was always available and quickly responsive to our every request. I had an incident where my nephew was naughty and she was understanding and compassionate and for that I am truly grateful. I will definitely return when time permits. A Class A++++ experience.

Very Nice!
