The light-filled open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, quality furnishings and a king bedroom that can also be configured as two king singles. A convenient Murphy bed provides additional flexibility for a child, friend or carer when required.

Step outside to your own private north-facing deck and fully fenced garden, complete with outdoor dining and a mains gas BBQ—an ideal place to enjoy breakfast in the sunshine or unwind after a day exploring the coast.

Jade Cottage is proudly Accessible Accommodation Qualified, with step-free entry, wide internal spaces, an accessible bathroom with roll-in shower and grab rails, and undercover parking conveniently located beside the entrance. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome.

Jade Cottage has always been my own little sanctuary. Whenever I need time to recharge, this is where I choose to stay.

During the COVID years, while I was still working full-time, I lived here for several months. The sunny north-facing deck became my outdoor office, where I could work remotely surrounded by birdsong, fresh coastal air and beautiful gardens. At the end of each day, a short walk to the beach or simply sitting quietly in the garden reminded me just how special this place is.

That experience confirmed everything I had hoped to create—a cottage that feels peaceful, comfortable and restorative. It's a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy life's simple pleasures.

I hope every guest leaves Jade Cottage feeling as refreshed and inspired as I always do.

I chose this area because it has always felt like home to me. The Bellarine Peninsula offers the perfect balance of natural beauty, peaceful surroundings and a genuine sense of community.

As a passionate birdwatcher and gardener, I'm constantly inspired by the native birdlife, coastal landscapes and ever-changing seasons. Whether it's a sunrise walk along the beach, exploring nearby wetlands or simply sitting on Jade Cottage's sunny north-facing deck listening to the birds, I find myself slowing down and appreciating the simple pleasures.

I also love that Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff have retained their unique character. From wonderful cafés and local produce to wineries, beaches, walking trails and rich maritime history, there's always something to discover without ever feeling crowded.

For me, this special corner of Victoria is a place to unwind, reconnect with nature and leave feeling refreshed. I hope every guest discovers their own favourite part of it, just as I have.
