From first stays to return visits everyone enjoys this beautiful bush setting and perfect location in one ofth Victoria's last true beach towns.

Short walk to the glorious No. 1 beach (patrolled during summer holidays), shops and playground. Your whole family will enjoy this tidy coastal home.

Central living and dining with huge, brand new couch. Three separate bedrooms and small, rustic bathroom with shower over bath. Quiet bush setting with large north facing balcony, outdoor furniture and Weber Family Q BBQ.

Perfectly equipped for all families with toys, games, beach equipment, cot and highchair included.

New 32" TV with built-in DVD player and new TV antenna with great reception for all digital channels.

Nespresso coffee machine (BYO pods). Split system heating/cooling in the main living area, and fan and heater in the main bedroom.

Inverloch 15 minutes away, Short drive to Walkerville, Fish Creek, Waratah Bay and surrounds. Just over an hour to Wilson's Prom for one Australia's best day trips.

We love sharing our family getaway and request guests looking for a quiet stay. Pets with approval of owner only.

Strictly NO SMOKING inside. If the house smells of smoke the bond will be forfeit.

Linen, towels and Wi-fi NOT included, but there are pillows and mattress covers on all beds and quilts provided (but BYO pillowcases and quilt covers).

All of VB uses tank water, so showers should be kept fairly short and please minimise the use of the washing machine.

$200 Security Bond required before access to property is granted.

Fun Family Break at the Blue Beach House

Perfect spot for a family getaway. Just a few minutes walk to the shops, the cafe and local bar are both very dog friendly, and an easy walk to the surf beach. Very simple classic beach house but with everything you need for a beach getaway. Thanks so much for having us!

Close to everything

We had a great stay at the Blue House recently! Excellent communication with the owner who gave us great flexibility with the booking in terms of checkin & out. The location is perfect with hop skip & jump to local shops & the heart of venus bay, and just a short walk to the beach. The house is very well appointed with more than expected in terms of kitchen accessories, kids toys, outdoor setting.....the list goes on. Would definitely stay again!

Great location

Fantastic location. Very spacious. Unfortunately though the bathroom wasnt very good and the water stank. We all hated our showers as we stank afterwoods. We were careful with the water tooasmy mother lived at Venus bay for many years and we are familiar with tank water

Thanks for the review Alison and Phil. So sorry to hear there were issues with the water quality during your stay. Many residents around VB have reported the same issue, which is thought to be due to the bushfires. I’ve just been down there myself for the few days after you and had the same experience, although thankfully the water quality seemed to improve over my stay. By way of apology, I’ll donate $50 to the bushfire appeal in your names. Also, I’ve notified the next tenants of the potential issue and left them some bottles of drinking water in case it is required. Sorry again that your enjoyment of the house was affected by the water quality, which we were not able to anticipate. I hope you will visit this beautiful part of the world again in the future. Lovely little spot, quite private and we all have a lovely time relaxing and hitting the beach. Well catered for little bubs and a spacious kitchen and living area. Proximity to beach and shopping strip a big plus. We had a great time. A few little dampeners were the aerial for the tv and reception, the key lock, cd radio appeared not to be functional, toilet seat wonky and microwave could be better..

Beautiful!

The blue house was amazing! The photos do not do the place justice! Under 5 minutes to the main shops, but with that feeling of being in the bush with lots of wildlife, a resident wombat that came out the same time everyday! The house was super clean and comfortable with a homely feel considering it isn’t the newest of places which was exactly what we wanted with our dog! It had everything we needed and was great to stay away from technology! Water, showers all great considering it’s tank water! We didn’t make use of the backyard due to our dog but didn’t need too, beach’s all close by, fishing, and Inverloch shops all within reach! Wish we stayed longer! Brett was very approachable and answered all my questions honestly straight away before booking and after booking which set my mind at ease! We will definitely be back and even tried to see if it was available for a longer stay!

Comfortable and Relaxing

Despite typical Victorian weather varying between thunderstorms and heatwave, the Blue House was comfortable and relaxing for a family holiday. Great supply of beach gear and easy access to Venus Bay shops and beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location close to the shops & beach 1. Its a cute beach house, comfortable, clean & as described. Venus Bay area is just beautiful. The TV reception wasn't great for us, plan for some screen free time 😁

Comfortable beach house in great location

Nice house in great location, walking distance to No 1 beach and 2 min walk to main street cafe's and shops. Spacious living area and sunny deck with new BBQ. Owner Brett good to deal with, highly recommend.

The Blue House was in good condition and clean. Mattresses and doonas in every rooms were very clea.

The owner was very prompt in providing responses to my questions and was very helpful with my requests.

The Blue House, Jan-2020

It was great to be back after a number of years absence. Perfect position close to shops and beach 1. It had everything reqd for a beach holiday. Dealing with management was also very straight forward. Unfortunately was not as clean as we would have expected.
