A welcoming cottage in the heart of Ballarat. Just minutes walk to the CBD with plenty of restaurants and shopping outlets, movies, bars, supermarkets, hospitals, train station, public transport and the historic architecture Ballarat has on offer. This house was perfect for a family. It was clean, warm and cosy. The central heating is brilliant and the owner even left us breakfast items such as bread, milk, bacon and eggs. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay.

Thank you and I always strive to give my guests the best possible experience by offering bacon eggs eta for breakfast. Also the name cosy on mair invites an expectation of comfort, therefore i do my best to have the cottage warm for guests. Location is guest too as anyone can stroll into town and enjoy fine cuisine.
Absolutely loved Cosy on Mair. Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, old world charm with modern conveniences and close to the centre of Ballarat. Everything we needed was thought of including breakfast supplies. Would rate this place 10/10.

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay Ballarat and enjoyed staying at the Cosy Cottage on Mair.
We were disappointed that the space at the rear lane of the cottage was not adequte for an average sized vehicle.
Also, that the cottage does not have any fly/insect screens.
Thank you1

Thank you Pauline for your feed back. Im pleased you had a nice time. I have taken note of the comments about flyscreens eta. The house was built in the late18 hundreds and some windows open out which make it difficult to install screens. Something to address in the near future. I know the driveway is tight however if anyone wishes to contact me I will endeavour to find a solution.
I spent 4 wonderful days at Cosy Cottage. Jenny's home is extremely clean, tidy, charming and very lovely. I walked into a warm and cosy cottage as the weather had turned cold and felt immediately at home! What a nice surprise to find bacon and eggs in the fridge ready for the morning breakfast! Thanks, Jenny, for being kind and thoughtful. The beds had fresh linen and were incredibly comfortable. The Cottage is in prime position with only a ten minute walk to the CBD. Communication with Jenny was excellent. I would highly recommend Jenny's cottage for your next stay, as it was perfect! Virginia

We had a great stay at Jennys property. The house is great location - walking distance to a lot of restaurants/cafes/bars.
We had 4 adults and stayed with our 6 month old and the third room was a great option to have. The house was very clean and the breakfast supplied was a lovely touch.
Would definitely recommend!
Thanks Jenny!
A delightful cottage, tastefully decorated, very clean and well appointed with some much appreciated extra touches for our comfort and enjoyment. Highly recommended
Delightful, well equipped, spotlessly clean. Breakfast provisions were much appreciated. Comfy bed and quality linen and towels provided. On site car parking tricky for larger cars, but free parking available across the road. Would certainly consider staying here again.

Lovely cottage. Warm and very clean. Breakfast provisions were generous and delicious. Very good communication from the owner. Good location.
We had some difficulty lighting the stove top as it is quite old. We thought it was broken. Unfortunately one of the cast iron single beds had a terrible squeak and creak whenever you moved so interrupted my daughters sleep.
Lovely, cosy cottage. Very comfortable and spacious and well located to all needs. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast items were very generous. Would recommend this accomodation.
We had a great experience with the host. Very comfortable with some thoughtful touches and a terrific location near central locations and the lake. We will certainly look this up again when we go back to Ballarat.

Hi Margaret thank you for your review and your constructive comments. In regard to the second queen bed I think it would make the area too squashed but maybe I could consider the third bedroom. The toilet yes I agree and it's on my to do list. Just need a plumber and ballarat is so busy they are hard to acquire but thanks I'm taking it on board
Excellent wee house. Comfy beds. Great location, close to restaurants and centre of Ballarat. Many trips back and forth to Aunty Jacks. Quality coffee right next door. Fresh eggs and bread on arrival. Highly recommend.
