島の中を歩いている人々、ビーチでバーベキューやピクニック、バージやフェリーでチャットしている人々の雰囲気が大好きです。 サンタは、すべての島民がパーティーを行い、メインビーチのビーチピクニックを日没時に持つ毎年、バーベキュークルーザーに到着します。 これは、思い出を作り、より多くのために戻ってきてくれるユニークな場所です。

歩き回っている

Coochiemudlo Islandはブリスベン市の南東35kmに位置しています。 旅客船のフェリーで10分、ドリフトウッド・ビーチ・ホリデイ・ハウスまで徒歩5分です。 ほとんどの人はバイクを歩いたり雇ったりすることで島の周りを歩き回ります。
フェリーは一晩中毎週午前5時から午後11時30分まで運行しています。週末は午前6時15分から午後11時まで。 車のバージ（Amity Trader）で一日に複数回の旅行があります。事前に予約してください。 ご滞在のお客様は、島へのカーバッジを利用して島の車を利用して滞在することができます。また、光を旅行する場合は、本土に車を置き、旅客船を利用して旅することができます（注：ほとんどの地元の旅行者は、ホイール!!）。
フェリーターミナルからは、シティ、カーリンデールショッピングセンター、地元ビクトリアポイントショッピングセンターへのバスがあります。
あなたが甘やかされ、地元のようになりたいなら、両側に車を持つことができます:)

メモするその他の事項

すべてのあなたの食べ物と飲み物を完備してください。 島や燃料にショッピングセンターはありません。 小規模な緊急用品や食べ物を食べるコーナーショップ/キオスクや、食べるためのレッドロックカフェを用意しています。
最後に必要が生じたら、緊急事態が発生した場合、島はボランティアで、訓練を受けた最初のレスポンダーと救急車があり、000にダイヤルしてください。

Home away from home

Throughly enjoyed our weekend away… Top central location to access all parts of the island. The beds are sooo comfy and the local honey 🍯 is amazing… Highly recommend.

Lovely quiet retreat

Lovely quiet property away from the main jetty area, but still only a short 10min walk when needed. Very clean, tidy and a well equipped kitchen was appreciated.

Nice house in a quiet street - but most of the island is quiet. Nice lounge and good sized kitchen and VERY comfortable beds.

Quiet location

The property itself is located in a quiet area still well within walking distance to everything. The house is well appointed with some amazing furniture and beds. We especially loved the bunk beds for the kids. The standout for me was the table and seats outside in the BBQ area very solid and put together. A big thanks to our hosts Richard and Lise.

Lovely girls long weekend

2 night getaway with girlfriends. Property was clean, tidy and comfortable. Hosts were very attentive and helpful when, for some strange reason, an important email was not received (not host’s fault). Would definitely return should the opportunity arise.

Home away from home

This beautiful cottage had everything needed for a home away from home stay on the island for our getaway with our family of 2 adult 3 children. Overall it was fresh light airy and very well kept. Its a gorgeous neighbourhood and everything you could ever need is within walking distance. Rich and Lis are lovely and the correspondence was warm, prompt, and friendly. We highly recommend Driftwood Beach Coochie, and it'd be a dream to return one day soon. Thanks for having us.

Shot stay

The place was overall good. Only issues i had was they have a huge bathroom with everything jammed down 1 end and lack of pressure in the shower. But its definitely not a deal breaker dealing with the owners was a very pleasant experience and there house is really quiet lovely and clean and neat and tidy. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you very much guys you made this extremely pleasant.

Nice house and island!

We enjoyed our stay at Driftwood, it has everything you need to cook and have a relaxing stay. It is very hot, especially when you arrive as the house has been closed up, but cools down quickly with the aircon or open doors Shower and toilet are a bit odd, toilet is very far away from the bathroom and it's a shower over bath with a shower curtain. It works though. A few more hooks in the bathroom and a bedside table for the bunk bed would improve the house even more but overall very comfortable stay! About 1km to walk from the ferry and either one of the beaches.

Quick get away

Well we were talking to some friends and we thought it would be fun to go over to coochie for a few night only 7 minutes on the barge just don’t blink or you miss it and a 3 minute driver to the house on an island pulled up and was like what the kids and wife went inside I unpacked car after about 5 minutes no one came out to help so I walk inside my god it was so nice inside the house you know for a little house this place had it all kids even camped in the yard for 2 nights we did so much fishing and walking and BBQ watched sun sets oh the tree out side at night was great You know what just a short stay with good friends was just what we needed we heard some bad stuff about coochie we had no problem kids were out all night fishing the locals were really helpful lots to see on the island did not think it was that big over all we give the house 8/10 money well spent great street location close to everything

Nice and clean just some dust bunnies under the fold up bed in the main bedroom. All facilities you would want and items you would need. Quiet location easy to all the beaches. A nice freshly painted property on a lovely island, will be back.

A place of healing...Driftwood on Coochie

Driftwood is a pleasent place to recoup. I went there to feel soothed by a peaceful house on a tranquil island as i dealt with grief over the death of my mother 14 months ago...these few days brought a life back to my face..a twinkle in my eyes i thought was gone forever...im a better person for staying at driftwood...it breathed life into my soul.....it was more than i imagined

Beautiful clean property

This property was very clean and beautifully furnished. Communication with owner was amazing and they even allowed us to check in early. Only 2 issues with this property 1 is the shower was terrible there was no water pressure what so ever and the placement and type of shower head you had to stand right up against the wall to get a few drops but most of it would fall onto the taps below due to water pressure being terrible but we couldn't understand why as the water pressure on everything else was great just not the shower and 2 is the main bed was too high I have a knee injury and I could just not get up on the bed so ended up sleeping on bottom bunk of the bunk beds which was still comfortable. So overall I recommend this property for affordability, cleanliness, great location, furnishings and decor.

Outstanding

Driftwoid was an outstanding place to stay. My family enjoyed not only the house but the island thoroughly. Perfect for a weekend away or a lengthy stay. Richard and Lise were very accommodating and quick to answer any queries that I had. Will be looking at returning in the future.

My wife Lise and I love to travel. We try to spend as much of our time exploring our amazing country and love nothing better than to hike with our kids into special places and swim. Some of our favourite destinations are Coochiemudlo Island, Karijini National Park, swimming with the whale sharks in Ningaloo, touring Iceland and El Questro Cattle Station in The Kimberley.

Coochiemudlo is one of Brisbane's best kept secrets!! We meet so many people who have either never heard of the place....... or the total opposite and have spent many fun times there on holiday when they were growing up.
Most fall in love with the undiscovered and un-touristy vibe.... Driftwood Beach Holiday House is great for young families who want to just get away from it all for a break.
