Loxton River Escape is situated on 3 acres of land with 80m of absolute river frontage. The house is located 5km from Loxton and 50 metres from the River Murray. Loxton River Escape is located only a short 2 hours 45 minute drive from Adelaide and 1 hour 50 minute drive from Mildura. There is easy river access with a private 4WD boat ramp and private floating pontoon, perfect for putting in the boat, jetski or for fishing and yabbying. The property has stunning river views from the outdoor entertaining area, lounge room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and queen bedroom. The house has recently been renovated with beautiful modern furniture. The house has 4 bedrooms with 1x king bed, 1x queen bed, 2x king single beds and 2x singles as a bunk bed. The property also has 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas, with couches and TV/DVD. The outdoor entertaining area has a 10 person dining setting and hooded BBQ facilities.

Loxton River Escape has an indoor wood combustion fire to curl up to during the cooler months. You can BYO wood or buy on consumption basis ($15 per 20kg bag), please organise before your stay. A brand new ducted reverse cycle air conditioner and heater will also meet your comfort needs. Two bedrooms have ceiling fans and there are pedestal fans for the other two bedrooms. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, spring water and rainwater for drinking, microwave, oven, stove top, toaster, kettle and other kitchen essentials are provided. The laundry has a washing machine, indoor drying racks as well as an outdoor clothesline. All bed linen and towels are provided. BYO beach towels.

Why not pick your own piece of fresh fruit to eat during your stay? Loxton River Escape has an orchard with numerous fruit varieties. The property has a large lawned area as well as a basketball ring, table tennis table, push bikes, golf chipping range, bocce set and croquet set for your entertainment needs. Board games, card games, books and DVDs are also supplied. A portable stereo is located in the loungeroom with CD, USB and Bluetooth compatibility. Two canoes are provided for your use. Some PFD’s are supplied and must be worn when on or near the water.

There is off street parking for numerous cars. The house is located 500m from the road and 150m from the neighbours, ensuring privacy. A firepit is located down by the river, for use between April to October (please make sure you have checked the fire ban dates before lighting the fire). Strictly no wood is to be collected from the property. Once again, wood is BYO or buy on consumption basis, please enquire before your stay. The inside of the house is non-smoking. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

The town of Loxton is only a 5 minute drive away, with a new big playground, two supermarkets, post office, newsagency, pharmacy, hotel, bottleo, petrol stations, hospital, doctors surgery, dentist, two bakeries and emergency outpatients. A perfectly central spot to explore the wineries, golf courses and varied tourist attractions the iconic Riverland has to offer.

A minimum 3 night stay applies on long weekends. A minimum 4 night stay applies over Easter or during the SA Christmas School Holidays. Minimum 2 nights stay for all other dates.
