PET FRIENDLY COTTAGES are only minutes from Mount Gambier at 17 Kavanagh Road, Worrolong, on a 5-acre property. The setting is quiet and peaceful with an abundance of birdlife, set amongst manicured gardens with plenty of room to walk your dog or just enjoy the fresh air.

The property is home to two cottages; Collie Cottage (1 bedroom) and Kelpie Cottage (2 bedrooms). Please see description below for accurate pricing.

Features of our property:

Feed the animals by hand.
Dog-friendly: fenced yard for dogs - house trained dogs are allowed inside.
We are north-east of Mount Gambier (only 6-7 minutes) in a rural environment.

A short 30-minute drive to the beautiful Coonawarra wine region.
A short 30-minute drive to Port Macdonnell, the lobster capital of S.A., also an amazing rugged limestone coast to admire.
The majestic Glenelg River is also 30-minutes away.
Visit the many caves and sinkholes in the area, including the beautiful Princess Margaret Rose Cave among others.

Such a great place to stay. Our family went here for a little getaway & it was a great little property tucked away from the main drag. It was very quiet, there were heaps of beautiful birds out our windows that we loved watching. The town is fun to explore and this home was cozy to retreat to. Perfect for our dog with a well fenced yard, a provided dog bed & treats. The hosts made sure we were welcomed and set up with everything we needed. The home was clean, spa was lovely with powerful jets, their towels were soft & fluffy, and the fridge was stocked with some lovely farm fresh eggs. We were even able to leave our dog during a particularly hot day in the fenced backyard and there was heaps of shade. I felt very safe leaving him behind and the hosts even checked on him because they were home. Highly recommend.

Russell & Pauline have set up a lively sanctuary for their animals.But more importantly, it was a great place for us to bring our fur baby.We had peace if mind leaving through the day knowing our baby would be sade & secure in his own yard.The accomodation was lovely with all the animal touches in the decor.& the hosts go above & beyond with the little extras we werent expecting. Not a lot of places put the same thought in that Russ & Pauline do.There is no doubt in our mind when we say we will be back because this place is an absolute gem.Thank you Russ & Pauline for amswering all of our questions, & accomodating those.& thank you once again. This trip was made so much more special by being able to have our fur baby with us. Thank you

Quiet location

Lovely clean cottage, hosts supplied little extras to add to our stay. Our dog was well accommodated with her own little extras as well. Recommend this cottage if you’re travelling with dogs.
