We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nutgrove Villa and the bed was very comfortable. The views were wonderful (although the driveway is quite steep) and it had what we needed for our 3 days in Hobart and the surrounding areas. It was within driving distance to Port Arthur Historic Site, Tasman Island Cruises, Tasman National Park, along with Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary and Mt Field National Park.

Great place to stay with beautiful views and with everything you need. Just so nice to come home to after a full day of touring around. Also beds were super comfortable! We loved our stay!

Beautiful villa and location

A comfortable and very clean villa located within easy access of beaches, restaurants and Hobart harbour / Salamanca. The property is exactly as depicted in the pictures. Communication with the host was exceptional.

Enjoyed our stay

Lovely location, great view, had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Was great to be out of town a little, but still close to everything. Perfect location to access day trips in all directions. Fay was very helpful and made our stay stress free.

So comfy and cosy

What a lovely property - set in among the garden. Comfy and cosy, beautifully appointed. The most comfortable bed to sleep in. Lots of goodies in the pantry. Art by local artists on the walls and a suntrap patio to enjoy the views of the Derwent. We did not lack for anything and with just the two of us in residence we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely villa

Very comfortable villa with easy drive into Hobart to eateries etc. Well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and dining area, we enjoyed sitting out on the little balcony when weather permitted. Bed was comfortable and bathroom spacious, it was a pleasure to come back to Nutgrove Villa after days spent exploring .

Lovely Nutgrove

Nutgrove Villa is a wonderful little find in central Hobart. Located in Sandy Bay, it is close to everything. The unit itself is spacious and well equipped. It is a very warm and welcoming environment. Fay is a terrific host, and communicates in a very timely manner.

The Perfect Get Away Villa in Hobart

The property is well located only 8 mins out of Hobart, clean, very well appointed with everything you could need for an extended stay and quiet in the evenings. The beds are comfortable and both rooms are good sized. Lovely views over the Derwent River to the Tasman Bridge. Would be more than happy to return for another stay.

Floral Delight

This was our best overall experience of more than a dozen VRBO stays! Fay is a wonderful hostess and extremely attentive. There was an amazing welcome package on arrival. The unit was extremely clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. The unit has all top end appliances and a Weber BBQ. The front of the unit is full of beautiful roses and the patio had several lovely flower pots. We ate most of our at home meals outside on the patio. The view of the Derwent River is great and we watched a number of cruise ships come and go and a multitude of sailboats. Groceries and restaurants all close by in walking distance. We did not have a car and used the extremely efficient Hobart local bus service to get around town. Hobart itself is a wonderful laid back town. Lots of beautiful homes with amazing flower gardens. In all, we had a great experience and highly recommend this VRBO which is “Best of Breed”.

Sandy Bay great location to stay

Perfect location for a stay in Hobart - close to everything. The apartment was exactly what we wanted - lovely view from kitchen window and enclosed balcony. Very cosy feel and comfortable beds. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Lap of Tassie 2023

After 2 weeks road tripping around Tasmania we finished in Hobart at Nutgrove. We had a wonderful stay and the views are breathtaking. The house had everything we needed and more. We struggled with the driveway but as the owner had advised, there is plenty of street parking and we had no issues getting a park day or night. Staying at Nutgrove so close to everything was a great way to finish our holiday.

Beautiful and warm place

We enjoyed our stay, the place is beautiful and you feel at home, with beautiful views of the water and mountains infront of you all day. Beds are very comfortable, all equipment in the house is high quality. We would definitely come back. Thank you for having us!
