Facing north with a pet-friendly, enclosed garden, it boasts a generous verandah, wifi, huge living area with wood fire heating, A/C, three large bedrooms, capable of accommodating up to eight with plenty of off-street parking.

The Lakehouse accommodates up to 8 people, has a fantastic view and huge veranda overlooking the lake. It is easy walking distance to everything in town (3 mins) and a short drive to the surf beach (5 mins).
It offers reverse cycle air conditioning in 2 bedrooms and dining area, and a fireplace in the lounge. Cool in summer and cosy in winter. The stunning aspect is beautiful in all seasons. The large garden surrounding the house attracts birdlife and is a great play space for your pet or family.
Where can I park my boat/craft?: you are welcome to moor your boat or kayak at our jetty which can be seen from the house. There is plenty of parking for boat trailers on the grass in front of the house or in the carport.
The location is convenient, one block from bakery, wharf and hotel.
What about access?: We have ramp access into the house and safety bars to assist guests with mobility issues in the hallway and bathroom. The property is accessible by using the front gate and concrete path to enter. There are no steps inside the house.
What Beds are there?: The Lakehouse sleeps up to 8 people. It has 3 large bedrooms which sleep 6. The sofa bed in the lounge sleeps 2 more at no extra cost. Maximum 8 guests. Linen and bedding are provided and freshly made up for your stay.
Air conditioning?: The lakehouse has 3 air conditioners: 1 in the kitchen/ dining area, as well as 1 each in the master and second bedrooms.
What about heating?: there is a wood fireplace in the lounge and 3 reverse cycle air conditioning units which provide heating in the kitchen/ dining, master bedroom and second bedroom.
What cooking facilities are there?: Full size gas stove and oven, microwave, large gas bbq, full size refrigerator, toaster, kettle, all kitchenware supplied.
What about bathroom facilities?: One large bathroom with shower and separate bath, separate toilet. Bath towels provided.
How secure is the yard?: The Lakehouse is fully fenced with an extensive yard. It is secure if you shut the gate to the carport. Pets will love the large garden and lawn areas. There is also a dog run which provides a very secure spot to house your dog if you need to go out for an adventure without them.
We love domestic animals. So pets are welcome. Save on boarding kennel fees and make your pet happy by bringing them with you! The lakehouse has a fenced yard. Pets are welcome inside. Damage needs to be paid for and please pick up after your dog!

You are also at the gateway to local bird life. Many parrots abound. According to Tim Dolby’s Bird Trip reports, there are Ground Parrot, Eastern Bristlebird, Black-faced Monarch, Beautiful Firetail, Topknot Pigeon, Scarlet Honeyeater, Glossy Black-Cockatoo, Eastern Whipbird, Superb Lyrebird, Powerful Owl, Red-browed Treecreeper, Eastern Reef Egret, Black Bittern, Striated Heron, Cicadabird, and White-throated Nightjar.
