Barwon House - joen ranta

Lapsiystävällinen talo, hyvällä paikalla rauhallisella joen rannalla. Kävele joelle kadun päässä tai mene 20 minuutin kävelymatka vilkkaaseen pääkaupunkiin (5 min autolla).

Talo tarjoaa avoin suunnitelma valoisat ilmastoidut olohuoneet, joissa erillinen ruokailu-, opiskelu- ja TV-alue - uusi 43 "-televisio, Netflix ja DVD. Tyylikkäät vuosisadan puoliväliset kalusteet viileällä kiillotetulla betonilattialla.

3 kokolattiamattoa makuuhuoneesta tärkeimmistä olohuoneista, mahtuu mukavasti jopa 6 aikuista, jokaisessa on kattotuuletin jäähdyttämään sinua lämpimin kesäkuukausina.
Yksi lisäpatja on saatavana pyynnöstä.

Top house, Top location

Property is well appointed with evrything needed, inside and out. It was a great walk in the morning with kids on scooters down to the main shops. We loved it, well stay again.

Perfect family home

This is such a lovely house and garden, situated in a peaceful court on the outskirts of Barwon Heads. But still only a five minute drive to town and beach. The whole place feels newly renovated and is so comfortable and well organised. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen appliances provided. The beds are all comfortable. A perfect stay for our family of five and we would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great hosts!

We loved our stay at Gill and David’s house. It was spacious, clean and very well appointed. We were blessed with good weather so was able to make use of the new outdoor decking area. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, were always prompt with their communication and were very accommodating to our requests. The property is a little way out of the main town so we had to use the car more than we would have liked (two kids under 10 years) but we would definitely recommend the house to others and would stay again, ourselves.

Beautiful home in beautiful location

We stayed in Barwon Heads over Christmas and enjoyed the perfect home we were guests in. The house was spotlessly clean and fitted out with all modern bathroom, laundry and kitchen equipment (the latter helped us with doing some Christmas baking). Due to the inclement weather, we were not able to use the lovely terrace and garden, but we we appreciate that they are great assets of the house, too. The house has quality furniture throughout, but the mid-20th century Danish furniture and the wonderful artwork in the living area make you feel like guests in a beautifully maintained family home rather than in a mere holiday rental. The house is situated close to Lake Coonewarra Wildlife Reserve, and during the times when it did not rain this Christmas we had some lovely walks there. Communication with the owners was smooth. The only tiny problem we had when arriving was finding the lockbox with the house keys (it is well hidden), but a phone call to the owners solved that riddle quickly. We have been staying in Barwon Heads over Christmas for years now and we always rent accommodation in Barwon Heads or Ocean Grove. This was clearly one of the best houses we have ever rented in the area. Highly recommended.

Family coastal getaway

The house was extremely well stocked with kitchen utensils as well as some of the basic cooking needs eg cooking oil. The Owners had obviously taken the time to understand all the little things one can often forget to pack and and also provide small niceties for feeling at home. my family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean, modern, beautifully styled and decorated with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, crockery, cutlery and cookware. My husband especially enjoyed the coffee machine. The kids enjoyed the spacious backyard. Great communication with the owners who were extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back again!! Thanks again David and Gill

Perfect for a summer break with the family

With stylish comfortable furniture and a kitchen with all you need, I especially liked how your knives were sharp..... The beds are so comfy too. Thank you David and Gill! We thoroughly enjoyed our family break in Barwon Heads. It was the family holiday long overdue, a quiet Xmas to ourselves. Your home is in a perfect location, River precinct, and in a court amongst other locals. It was presented extremely well, clean and everything we needed for the holiday. Large fridge, with cold water in tap (our boys loved that!). We loved the design aspect, the furnishings and artwork. We’d look forward to staying again, thank you for your hospitality! Perfect base for a family holiday by the beach, quiet river precinct location, spacious modern home.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Barwon House. Located in a quiet court, in the river precinct, the perfect base for a beach holiday. The house is well presented, new and modern appliances, and designer furnishings and artwork. Perfect for summer with air-con and fans in each bedroom, and our kids loved the basketball run at top of the court. Thanks to David and Gill, we really enjoyed the beachside break, and appreciated your hospitality. We look forward to returning!

Excellent Property

This is an excellent property for the family holiday. You have everything you need in the kitchen.All the appliances are brand new. The coffee pod is excellent. My family enjoys very much staying this property. Gill and David are very helpful and instructed me how to fix the internet problem. I would recommend this to any other family for the holiday at Barwon heads.

Well appointed

Opening the door we could see we were staying in a well appointed home. Very clean and fabulously comfortable beds with lovely linens. Didn't need for anyrhing. Thankyou to our gracious hosts Gill & David who helped make it a comfortable and easy stay away from home. T.Lawler (we actually stayed jan 2018 but 2018 isnt on below selection criteria as yet)
